I beat Ikachan over my Winter vacation. It wasn't anything special, but for 3 dollars you can't really go wrong. Basically a prototype Cave Story with squids.

Flandre- "I've been in the basement. For about 495 years."
Marisa- "That's sweet, I only get weekends off."

Marisa- It's so hot, I'm gonna die here.

-Got to end of Fire Emblem Awakening. Great game, definitely going to replay on hard mode and see how good I really am.
-Got my Peach stamp (i.e. cleared all boards with Peach) in SM3DW. Almost done with Rosalina's and Mario's as well.
-Finished up story mode of Assassin's Creed 4. Enjoyed the game a lot, except the non-pirate "real world" stuff.
-Finished ALBW in maybe 3 sittings. Great game.
-Should be clearing Darksiders II in the next few days. Really enjoying this game as well, glad I picked it up.
Just finished up Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3!
This was my first time playing YI in any form, and I'm glad I could find out what all the fuss was about. I don't think I like it quite as much as SMW, but it definitely has things going for it.
Despite mostly being giant versions of regular enemies, the bosses were surprisingly all quite fun & unique, they made some cool use of the Super FX chip (which I'm sure left an impression back in the day), and it's definitely different enough to set itself apart from the core Super Mario series.
The egg throwing mechanic is a bit akward at first, and takes time to get used to, but once you get used to it, it's quite a fun twist.

Completed the Easy mode on Project Diva f. I'm actually pretty certain I will NEVER get a Perfect because it seems like every time I fix one mistake, I make one careless other so my long term goal is simply to pass all songs across all the modes with Excellent and of course, unlock all the costumes.
Pretty sure I would have finished Rhythm Thief by now if I hadn't made the stupid mistake of not saving my progress after a particularly difficult round and now I'm too upset to even look at the game again even though I'm on the next to last chapter. I'm probably be over it next week and then finish.
Also, I downloaded Megaman 2 last night and already I know I will NEVER finish this game. I suck at video games in general but O-M-G, I am getting my behind kicked. D-:

Super Mario 3D World - While I've beaten Bowser, which I think technically counts as beating the game, I'm currently on the second extra World Mushroom and the difficulty has been ramping up faster and faster. If it continues at the current pace it should be pretty insane by the last few stages. Definitely a gem, though it's not close to beating my favorite Mario games at the current time (Super Mario 64 and Super Mario World are by far my favorite entries in the series, though that may change if I ever have a chance to play Galaxy.
Metroid: Other M - While I can see where some of the complaints come from, I was totally blown away by this game. I blasted through it over the weekend and was completely shocked by my reaction to the game. I put off playing this entry in the series due to how thoroughly it's been lambasted on the net, and I'm really sad that I did. It immediately became my second favorite Metroid game, second only to the champion that is Super Metroid.
Currently playing - Wonderful 101, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story
Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale - Not necessarily as much of a game as it is an interactive anime (though the card game, which you can play at any time, even post game, is surprisingly fun & relaxing), but that's not a bad thing. Despite the small town Japanese setting (which is charming), I feel the experience can speak to anyone, as we were all kids & played make-believe once (and if you grew up playing the card games for Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh! as a kid, I think it'd be extra effective). All that, and the game is simply gorgeous.
Bugs VS Tanks - The gameplay in this one did get a little repetitive after a while, but I absolutely loved collecting all the intricately detailed tanks to add to my bug killing arsenal, and boy does it have a lot of tanks (you unlock most of them by playing through the insanely long, for a download title, 40 mission single player mode). The only thing that really tarnished my impression of it was the 15 mission Co-Op mode, which needs to be completed in order to get 4 of the tanks, but is impossible to beat solo, despite giving you the option to try :/ I enjoyed the game overall, though.
the Starship Damrey - Wow, this game creeped me the heck out, lol. Now, I know it may be more moody than scary to most, but I generally don't do scary games (or scary anything, really), so it's dark moody atmosphere & two or three jump scares were enough to put me on edge. Again, this may not be as much a game as it is an interactive narrative (though it does have some light puzzle solving, so I guess a kind of point & click adventure), but the truth behind all the mystery definitely had me gripped from beginning to end. Definitely one of the more unique things I've played on my 3DS.
Arc Style: Solitaire 3D - I unlocked all the table & deck types, so I guess I can put this down as a "beat" game, lol. It's definitely not a must buy, but it's a completely competent solitaire game, that's nice & relaxing.

The gunfights were pretty fun, especially some of the later ones that were surprisingly epic in scale (especially the ones that involved the destructive power of a mounted weapon).
The more unique types of missions (cattle drives, racing, etc.) worked well, and were a nice change of pace at the right times from the gunplay heavy missions.
There's a multitude of stuff to do when you just want to kick back & goof off (while I didn't do much in the way of Poker, Blackjack, Horseshoes, or anything like that, I spent a LOT of time hunting, as it was fun getting off the beaten path).
The game world is humongous & actually quite beautiful (at least the Great Plains, Forest, & Mountains, though they are unfortunately all 3 squeezed into 1/3 of the game world)
To go along with the massive world, is a massive story (it took me a little over 20 hours to complete the story, which is almost touching upon RPG territory. Impressive).
I was skeptical because I don't care for westerns whatsoever (at least when it comes to movies), so the fact that the game got me so invested into it's world is a major feat.
Didn't Like:
One on one duels. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what you were supposed to do in these situations (because the shooting mechanics are so different than your average gunfights), and I just ended up fumbling through them (there were only 2 or 3 throughout the entire story though, so it's not a major mark against the game).
This game has to have the most anti-climactic confrontations I've ever experienced in a game (I know that traditional boss fights wouldn't work in the context of the way the game works, but all the confrontations you have with the main villains simply never even come close to living up to the hype, & I think they could have come up with some sort of creative way to make these confrontations something more than they were)
This is more of a personal gripe, but it sucks that desert (albiet a few different types of desert environments) make up roughly 2/3 of the game world. I know it makes sense in the context of the game world, but if your going to go with a fictionalized version of the old west, I think it would have been better to open up environmental variety (it sucks that the three most interesting environments are squeezed into 1/3 of the game world).
Despite the fact that it seemed proud of it's big epic cinematic story, I honestly didn't think it was anything all that special (I certainly perfer the stories told in stuff like Tales of the Abyss, Final Fantasy X, etc).
Some of the scenarios were a little too raw for my personal tastes (especially Seth, though you don't have to spend too much time with him).
Overall it was a fun, solid experience, and I'm glad I got to experience it (it was gifted to me), but I don't think it's going to enter my favorite games of all time list any time soon.

Finished Tomb Raider last week with 80% overall completion.
Loved the story, but I wasn't nuts on all the quick time events. I will definitely replay the game sometime in the future. I really enjoyed it. It's one of those games where you say to yourself "yes, I will definitely come back to this again".
Just beat Advance Wars for the second time, now going into the Advanced Campaign
Boss Conquest and Epic Gamers on YouTube: www.youtube.com/channel/UCr-BdNM7x84aTBodCXQNlOg Also Majora's Mask is the best game ever! Search your feelings you know it to be true!
Just beat ZombiU for the first time on Survival Mode (second time total when counting both modes). And by beat I mean I died halfway through the game and it showed me the credits, 'cause there are no second chances in survival mode...
