Topic: Favourite starman music

With all this love of Mario going around (thanks to Wonder and the fantastic movie), I wanted to ask you all what's your favourite version of the ⭐️starman music?

The original Super Mario Bros. one is a favourite but I do like the version in Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart but the one in Super Mario Run is crazy-amazing!

Mega Man V Starman theme will always be my favorite.

The first two that spring into mind are:

Super Mario Land - The can-can playing makes this one so goofy 😆

Mario Strikers: Battle League - I just love a good metal remix!

Mario Movie - This one's simply glorious.

@Servbot_EJ I was a tiny bit disappointed with the Wonder star theme.

I also noticed there weren't many starmen in the whole game.

I think the Mario Movie one for me.
Embarrassingly when I heard it in the Movie i got kinda emotional... (same goes for most of the movie)

@GalaxicGlobe I think it was an emotional part of the film.

Luigi had saved Mario and were gonna attack Bowser.

I kind of like the MK8 one too bc it has a nice bassline (if i remember correctly)

Isn't the power up called "Super Star" nowadays?

And for the record, the one in the movie was ALMOST replaced with Van Halen's "Jump" (like how some of the songs in the soundtrack were replaced with cover songs) but thankfully they fought to keep the original song in.

As for my favorites, we have:

2. Mario Party 3 (Toadstool Titan)
3. Super Mario Kart

@HenryKibble Yes, I think it is but as I started with Mario 1, I still refer to it as what it was called in that game.

@AndroidiOS Not me, especially since we have an enemy in Earthbound also called a Starman.

But I digest…

Why is nobody referencing David Bowie?
He did the best Starman!

In no particular order:

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (Powerful Infant)- the origin of the extra section aka the Mario 64 Wing Cap melody, and pairs so well with the beautiful underground bonus areas where it often plays

Super Mario 64 (Wing Cap)- the instrumentation is just so majestic and on point to this day

Super Paper Mario- the buildup of the intro plus the tracing of the humongous sprite outlines were awesome

Super Mario Kart- Soyo Oka goodness

Mario Strikers Charged Wii- I enjoy the funk they added to this and it fits very well with the game

Does the Star Road theme from Super Mario World count?

How about Star Stache Smash from M&L: SuperStar Saga GBA? The best in my opinion.
