I guess it had to end sometime. I'm really sad to see this project end.
Three years ago, a YouTuber named FamilyJules7X released a guitar medley of Goldeneye 007 for the N64 with the goal of releasing a video every week for three years. He took some breaks to get his life sorted out and material together, but ultimately succeeded when he put up this video two weeks ago:
This video is "Replay: A Metal Tribute to the History of Video Games" and it covers 17 minutes of Video game music from Pong in 1975 to Dark Souls II in 2014. 40 years of sound design summed up into one amazing tribute. He attempts to play one song for every year, but early on, games weren't exactly around every corner, so he did skip some of the first years. Even so, I think you guys will enjoy this video, and if you do, feel free to browse his other videos for more of this goodness or even ask me to suggest some covers, though I think you'll find that you can find what you like better than I can.
