I completed Pokemon Red again last night and the final battle against my rival was so intense, I could only compare it to the final scene in Rocky 2. So I recorded this!

The lyrics actually complement each other very well. And yeah I know Eye of the Tiger wasn't in Rocky 2.

No but they used it in Rocky III when they were showing flashbacks from the final fight in Rocky 2 so I guess that counts.

What gave you the idea to use Grimer as the hook, I would have gone with Dragonite.
But this is still a pretty awesome mash up.

Dragonite is too many syllables to replace "tiger" and doesn't rhyme.

Yeah, what Adam said. I wasn't keen on Grimer myself but it was the best fit!
