Was just trying to pass the time until the Nintendo show anyway. Found the EA one really didn't have much for me.

Blah, lying internet is lying (sort of). It's for the PC, though there is also a facebook game, which they announced.

I'm not actually watching any of the conferences (outside of probably Nintendo's) yet for...certain reasons...

But my friend who was watching this reminded me of an important question that needs to be asked.

Where is my Mirror's Edge 2?

Today was shooters, shooters, shooters, little kinect, did I mention shooters.

Ugh. Nintendo announced that the 3DS will be featured at the software showcase on Wed, and It's not on TV... How am I supposed to watch it if my ipod made the picture blank at Nintendo Direct? I don't know what to do.. (I also have a ipad, but I'm not sure if it would work...)

The 360 is out selling the PS3 by quite a wide margin. Microsoft don't focus on exclusive games, because they just aren't important any more. Sony have proved this by spending millions developing games that only barely recoup their costs and have done nothing to boost sales. Just ask yourself, what's the more important franchise. Call of Duty or Resistance? Expect Sony to put far less of an emphasis on exclusives soon too.

Yeah, Microsoft don't have too much in the way of exclusives, but that's hardly surprising, especially when we're pretty much at the end of the current console cycle. When they begin to hype up their next system, expect a mega tonne of exclusive announcements.. We already know Rare are working on new games, Lionhead have next-gen games in production and Alan Wake 2 was more or less confirmed as a next-Xbox game.

Arguing over which console has better games now, is like arguing over whether the Gamecube or Dreamcast has better games.

This is all I really wanted.

She was being controlled quite thoroughly actually. Also if you're going to pick on Tomb Raider for doing something that immerses the player, then you should pick on games like Resident Evil 4 and God of War. Also, you should really get with the program, as games have been doing this for nearly a decade now.

EA and Ubisoft's conferences were awful? Do tell.

Just because everyone's doing it doesn't mean it's a good thing, nor does it mean we all gotta like it. For some of us, this trend means there's a lot less AAA gaming in our future.

Ubisoft's was awesome, whoever in this thread said otherwise is a liar.

I found EA's boring but had stuff that I like.
