@Ralizah HAHAHAHA! Yeah that's fair, I still don't understand that ...um habit. I want to know how many of those people stuck forks into outlets as kids.

@Ryu_Niiyama Some people will do anything if they see other people on the internet doing it!
Somehow I get the sense that people who lick Switch cartridges and people who took the Tide Pod challenge would at least partially overlap on a venn diagram.
If I'm forking out minimum €20 for some retro titles (particularly those from the GCN/PS2 era), you better BELIEVE I want a guarantee that they're going to be in workable condition and having them be loose puts me on red alert in that regard.
I like how certain retro shops handle things myself: have the case for the game be on display and have the associated disc/cartridge safely secured behind the counter so that, if someone wants to buy it, they can just bring the case to the desk and then have the game itself be inserted into it. It's worked out very well for me in the past (just grabbed a few today as a matter of fact).

I prefer to have the box, but I can see myself skipping it if it's a really good deal or a difficult to find game, and if I can be absolutely sure it's in working condition.
