My girlfriend got mad at me for talking to a girl who clearly had the hots for me. She threatened to leave. Until I apologised and started crying, and she started getting emotional, said sorry for everything, and told me how much she loves me. I'm relieved we were able to work it out.

Yeah, you can basically guess I've never been in a relationship before.

@Cyb3Rnite Yeah, I'm less interested in making it work, now that I've realized what a truly vile person he was. :/ He was a cheater and a liar, and I'm glad now that he's—more or less—out of my life now.

Thanks anyway, though, and I'm glad you were able to work that out with her. Plus, your girl doesn't seem to be the type to do the things he did to me, so lucky you. ^_~

I really hate being pressured to make big decisions regarding school (university in this case) because i'm so used to my parents or the teachers choosing for me, also because i've gotten by with school for my whole life with zero motivation because i hate school so much. Thank goodness video games and books exist to help me forget temporally.

A relationship where you get threatened to be left? That's not how I know happy couples live...
The talking... you should be allowed to talk to others as long as you don't show affection for them. But still, it would be nice of you, to your girlfriend, if you reminded that other girl that you have a girlfriend.

Anyway, are you even sure she's the right woman for you? Or are you just desperate to have a partner?
Remember, as long as you're together with someone, you're basically closing out other people who might like you, so make sure you pick the right one.
Maybe that other girl was your soul mate? I don't know.

Just remember that you can change courses whenever you like.

Why do you hate school? Is it the people around you? Is it all the work?
Maybe you should study to become a game developer, or start writing your own books? The work will become way more entertaining, and there's a bigger chance that you will meet people just like you!

Anyway, she got mad because the girl was hitting on me and I didn't remind her that I had a girlfriend. I don't doubt my feelings for my girlfriend, really. I'm just not used to being not-single, and no one has ever really hit on my before and I let it go to my head.

She didn't really threaten to leave me, but she did say that "maybe I might be better off without a girlfriend." Again, wrongly worded post. Sorry.

And again. I'm sure about my feelings. She apologized, and I forgave her. I can't say that she's the one that's "best for me" or anything like that, but she's the one that makes me happy. I love her and I don't doubt that for a moment. u_u

Okay, that's much better wording and now I completely understand why things went that way. If I was in your shoes, I'd be lucky if the situation went the same way. Father has had it hard... My dad recently got fired for reasons unknown. This is his second job loss but despite that, he seems to be taking it well and continues to look for other job roles. Still, it's saddening and I can't do anything meaningful to help him...

I don't know how old you are or how much you two are in need of money, but you could try to find some sort of job to help with the payment!

Of course but that's one of the many cases in life of "easier said than done", isn't it? That and I have University (hint on my age there) constantly on the brain. I've received my results for the year and I've passed, which is great, but just thinking about the final year gives me half a migraine... I do hope to get a job sometime soon, though it'll be solely for me as the family is doing fine money-wise _{and I need a Wii U, darnit! ^^}

... It's funny what gets to you, y'know? I mean, I've been relatively able to take what's been "dished out" at me for the past few days, and [because of that] I've actually been pretty happy, y'know? Then this... y'know, my ex-boyfriend actually said—when we broke up—that it was what God would want, so I guess seeing this guy say he wouldn't hold hands with me because I'm a guy (which is no doubt related to the fact that God is supposedly against same-sex relations) just reminded me of that.

I wish I was straight.

I find it interesting how homosexuals and some furries find their targets attractive... but I guess it's just a matter of taste?
