So now is apparently a great time to collect Digimon or something. Someone on eBay just put up for sale one of the rarest, mysterious digivolving figures, Kumamon. I never thought I'd see it.
Disappointing part is it's from Australia. Shipping is $30
Man is this thread depressing! I don't like too much doom and gloom, so here is a positive of the day for once.
I picked up Pokémon Y with my sister (who got Pokémon X) on Saturday. Earlier today, I was stumbling through the first cave and just about to leave when a random battle happened. There I saw it, a shiny whismur. I almost had a happiness heart attack, and ended up catching it. Now, its a loudred. My first shiny Pokémon.

@Nintendo_Ninja This is mostly a thread for venting your frustrations. If you don't like seeing so much doom and gloom, I suggest you stick with the actual Positive of the Day Thread. Thanks! ^_^

I'm at work until late...maybe even midnight. But it's not that bad because I've got Pokemon, Mario Kart, and Link Between Worlds with me...as well as internet access so I can browse Nintendo Life!
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite

By reading some posts, the gloom started to get to me1 So I decided to say something that was good.

This may come completely out of nowhere for a lot of people, but, long story short: After a little over a year of on and off chatting with the guy, I officially have a boyfriend now.
Yeah, well, that's over and has been over for a little less than a month.
When it happened, I flipped out on him. Later, we talked again and I flipped out on him again, but that time I decided I was done talking with him "forever." So "forever" goes by and I ask if we can start talking again. After awhile, he says yes, and things were going fine until I had to go ruin everything (despite what he may tell you) by bringing it up again and promptly leaving so I don't do anything else. Then, when I try to apologize, he completely innocently says something that was never meant to offend me whatsoever and then I flip out on him. Again.
Now we're not gonna talk for awhile for his sake (mind you, I suggested it, so it isn't him being "oversensitive" or whatever The Internet calls "not wanting to deal with that sort of emotional abuse anymore" nowadays) so yeah. I suck.
... I think I need to write some more trite, meaningless, and depressing Fan-Fics... >_<

I was hoping to sign the lease this week for the place I wanted, but it's not going to happen. I've complied with their draconian application process (really, they have the most asinine requirements) and they haven't gotten in touch with me. Meanwhile, the place is still up for grabs and I'm stuck helpless. I'm really hoping I can get this out of the way next week so I can finalize expenses.
Fortunately, with today's paycheck, my savings now total [redacted] and by mid-August, I estimate to have [redacted], [redacted] greater than my estimate a month ago.
I guess I kinda took a disappointment and turned it into a positive.
EDIT: Decided to remove the financial info I posted.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:

I had to reboot my computer this week, and in doing so, I've just lost access to a £300 piece of software.
Adobe Flash CS3 to be precise - I can no longer register it.
I can no longer work on any of the .fla files on my computer until I buy a £660 copy of flash cs5 (that's $1132 in American money).
I may have to buy a new piece of software. I will probably have to Prt Scr+Paste loads of frames into paint as a reference, because in 30 days, I'll lose access to everything I've been trying to achieve in the past 3 years.
Checked the new schedule at work today and I have a double whammy shift next Saturday. That's when you work from 9am until 3pm, and then you come back at 4pm or 5pm and work until closing. Hate that.
That doesn't happen often, but when it does, I always get stuck with it. Apparently no one else on staff can field the second half of the day. I try to think about the money, but my coworkers are so lazy!
I feel like withdrawing for a class I'm taking because nearly everything either keeps backfiring or just works but not how i expected…. sigh.
Woah man! If you need to go that class in order to achieve your dream, then you better man up and complete it!
Personally I dislike my class, but there's only 1 year left out of 3 until I don't have to see them anymore.
I need to complete this class in order to go to game developer school, and you know, once it's done you won't have any regrets.

Waiting for ShadowforSSB4 to take me up to the heavens.

@Kewlan@CanisWolfred It's an Adobe Illustrator class. You have to make posters and stamps and other artistic stuff through the program, print it out, mount it, and turn it in to the instructor. Basically 1 project that I had completed got a half grade because I didn't show up for the critique even though it was turned in because of a basketball tournament I had that week...and that one homework I forgot to do at that same week because I was focusing on that project before I left. And today a second project which I had completed I tried to print but almost every printer in the school (it's a special printer the one that prints out matte paper for art projects) is out of ink. The teacher helped me print it out but only after critique. I got away with a C.
....and another one is because I hate mounting projects.
That...Just sounds like stuff happened. I wouldn't get too down about it unless those two projects are gonna seriously damage your grade. Stuff happens all the time, and you just gotta do your best to make it better. It sounds like you've already done some stuff to help, a C is still better than an F, or even a Zero.

I figured it'd be bad luck....I guess I'll see what happens till the withdraw date then. Thanks.
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

That sounds like a plan. I do wanna know, though: Do you really need to be taking Illustrator? Because that seems to be something that can be easily self-taught to an extent, so maybe you shouldn't worry too much about it until you see where things go. If you don't have a sheet telling you what you'll be doing from here on out (I know when I went to college, and even high school electives, the teachers usually gave us stuff telling us what projects and stuff we'll be working on), maybe you could talk to the teacher and guage whether or not its something you think you'd want to do/need/can handle/etc.
But obviously if you need it, you need it. Heck, maybe you could even peruse the online research materials and tutorials to help you along.
