@HeroOfCybertron Aw geez, you just reminded of the last time my family had to put a dog down several years ago. He was an old German Shepherd, and we were at the vets waiting outside for the veterinarian to get the shot to end his suffering. As we're standing there a guy passed by with what I can only assume was his son. Accompanying them was a German Shepherd puppy. That was just horrible to watch...

I know this is a late response, but being a teacher myself, I'd rather want you to stay home than coming to class. I really doubt teachers, instructors, and professors will notice that you miss 1-2 classes for being sick. Besides, doing favors for them should make up for it

So there's this friend of mine (real-life friend. I promise I'm not referring to any of you) that forgives me way too easily. See: I'm not sure if she's just a forgiving person, if she just doesn't want to make a scene, or if what I'm apologizing for just isn't that big of a deal.

I dunno, maybe I'm just crazy. Maybe my perception of "things that are unforgivable or just take some time to forgive" isn't the same as hers, but it still bothers the heck out of me.

@Mickey, it happened to me a few times. just don't give it much thought, it can't really be bad and assuming things normally makes a really nasty change of situation

What you mean by disappointment of the day? Like disappointment in an lifetime or an disappointment in everyday. So far I have no disappointment at all even in this week but I do have some major disappointment in the past and it is not pretty.

Let's say I have to go to funeral on my birthday and that is not the worst part too.

Umm… Care to have some gravy?

Remember that group that I missed the newcomers' meeting for? I also missed the group picture, but this time, I am justified. They didn't actually announce when the picture was. Instead, they probably told people at the newcomers' meeting. I'll probably just end up getting kicked out at this point.

My disappointment today is the same everyday: Flipnote studio 3D is still delayed.

I do that all the time with my friends Just don't give it much thought. I do it becuase I am a happy person and I forgive my firends like it was nothing even when it's something like they owe me $40 and they can't pay back (It was a one-time thing though but I am so forgiving (I think lol)

@HeroOfCybertron I'm so sorry. My condolences to you and its family.

@Super_Gravy "Disappointment of the Day" is just a name. This is really just a place for people to vent about the things that have disappointed them. I'm sorry about the funeral.

@Mikky That sounds stressful. I hope things work out eventually for you and that group.

@Metroidlink I suppose you're right, she's probably just a very forgiving person like you. Thanks for the advice, friend.

I just witnessed a hawk kill a dove right underneath the bird feeders in my backyard before it flew away with its catch. I'm sad that the dove died but at the same time I knew the hawk had to eat too.

As the British nature documentary narrator David Attenborough once said, "Respect for predator, and sympathy for the prey."

the other day I saw a small bird attacking a big one in the air(they almost hit the car)
