I just got my platinum reward in the mail yesterday. It's the figurine that has the whole Super Mario gang on it, coolest reward I've seen yet. It came in a yellow box with question marks on it, and included a thank you note for helping Nintendo 'put smiles on gamers faces' by taking part in the surveys. If you didn't know already, by registering your products at https://club.nintendo.com/ and filling out surveys, you get coins that can be redeemed for goodies. You can also get a special yearly reward without using any of your coins. Anyhoo, the point of this post is, as small a thing as it is, it means a lot, and adds a personal touch. These things cost money to produce, and the cost of shipping to the members... It's just really refreshing when I can't turn my other systems on without being bombarded with advertisements. I think Microsoft would charge me for turning my 360 on if they could. Now that I think about it, shouldn't being subjected to all those commercials entitle me to free live? I mean, that's how commercial radio and television works, right? All I'm saying is it's nice to be appreciated once in a while. And I, er, appreciate being appreciated.

Everything that was in the "out of stock" section is now gone all together besides the 3DS game card case.

I had my fingers crossed for something like Super Metroid for the games (which i would spend the last of my coins on). But I guess I'll hold on to them for another time.

I'm holding off on registering any more games until the next Club Nintendo year. I have enough in reserve to get platinum status next year. So unless really cool pops up... no more registering for me.

I actually was going to get Yoshi with my Club Nintendo rewards but when I got home, I realized I already had it downloaded onto my Wii U. I got it during that .30 cents promotion last year. xD

Holy frickle frackel... you're right. It's been a while since I looked at the rewards pages.

I remember when video game rewards were 100-150. 200 if it was a newer/more popular game. It seems like they want to rotate stock out in some ways, but I think that some of the stuff that has been sitting here for ever (like the Kirby badges, the Greeting Cards should be rotated out for new prizes, but of same or better quality.

I have a similar version as a platinum reward, they are really nice cards, they are made from a good plastic that shouldn't get ruined easily (dropping food on it shouldn't be a problem I don't think and you can bend them a little bit that shouldn't damage it) and by comparing prices between both CN's, I think it's a alright price!

If worst comes to worst, you could always sell the code for like 3 or 4 dollars on eBay.
