same here, don't care if new games go on sale for $5 off, unless it is Captain Toad, I want to see some bigguns' on used games, I'd like to pick up a couple of used Switch and a few more 3DS games before my Elite membership expires (they killed renewals of Elite and are only doing Pro from now on ), so I'd like to 50 Shades of Gray (forgive the analogy ladies) them for every discount, rewards points and free $XX.xx gift cards I get from them before my card expires in January (I bought in January)
yah, I'm going to get my revenge on them for killing the Elite cards and hit them hard, it's how I bought most of my Switch and 3DS games all these years for cheap as hell

ummm.....I would have bought the damn thang, took it to a different game shop or the flea market to the vendors that buy and sell games and systems and made some damn profit, let me at it baby !!!

the economy thrives on "Buy Low, Sell High", GameStop pays squat for used games and systems, then sells them for as much as 400% profit, so if I effectively pay for just the tax after rebate ($6), make $30, but the other guy's probably going to sell for $50-$80, I think we BOTH come out ahead. it's neither dishonest nor devious, it's just business
I have a question that probably no one can answer, but is there a general time frame for some of these third party games (notably from Bethesda) to drop in price? I've been waiting for a sale to get Skyrim, and I see it's going to be $35 at Walmart. But it will also have been out for over a year and it's only $20 on every other system, so I'm wondering if there is a chance it will be even cheaper than the $35 relatively soon.

I would probably snatch Skyrim up at that price, if it actually does go at $35, for the Switch, it will disappear off shelves REALLY quick !!!
btw, how did you find out what Wal-Mart will have on sale ???
Not sure if it's against the results to link another site but here is the BF thread over on cheap a** gamer. They have a very helpful spreadsheet to plan out your shopping that gets updated frequently. Great tool to use to maximize time/savings, also a great site overall to find deals.
@redd214 I think the "advertising" stipulation in the community rules is about actual advertising, I asked for a way to find a deal, you're not advertising, it's pretty much like giving me the link to the Maxim Bady video on YouTube about the butt munching girl, LOL
