@Maxenmus Some art is built around being wobly or distorted. Artists still use a straight egde or compass, then draw over/around those. I've seen bob ross or some painter use a compass to sketch the moon for their painting. But I can understand if drawing is harder for some people than others. I can't read a book for pleasure. Doesn't matter how much I've practiced reading, or been forced to read novels for high school or Literature class in college (reading a novel a week- man, what a slog that was).
(which is maybe why I've been drawn to science, art, and freestyle biking and skiing. I went with what felt best for me)

Same. My attention span is awful, which is why I had a hard time picking up visual novels at first. But over time, their storytelling grew on me. Really helps that unlike normal books and novels, visual novels come with pictures and music. lol So yeah, that's a nice alternative for people who hate reading like me.
I realised that if consumption doesn't count, I actually don't really have any hobbies. Like I go walking and running sometimes so I guess that is sorta in the bracket? But I mostly do that as I cruise towards obesity thanks to the pandemic allowing me to work fully remotely. Same with like say cooking, I cook because I need to eat rather than for the love of cooking.
But otherwise I just spend all my time that I'm not working playing games, watching anime or sports or whatever and listening to podcasts or music. I don't really go anywhere to do like a thing of some kind of skill or whatever.
Gaming (video games, tabletop, board, rarely things on paper like Sudoku) is usually my primary focus, but my secondary hobby is reading. Mostly fiction, especially if it's in the sci-fi, fantasy, historical fiction, and thriller categories. Some manga on occasion too, though that's mostly My Hero Academia these days. Once in awhile I'll sneak into some nonfiction, specifically if it relates to psychology. I also exercise, but outside of walking in nature it's more to stay in shape/fit vs. getting true joy out of it.
Not sure if cooking counts; I do cook, but it's usually nothing extravagant. I do it to feed myself more than anything. Getting too fancy involves way more time and cleanup than I'm willing to commit to.
@WoomyNNYes bruh if you saw my drawing skills then you’d definitely call it garbage!
Even the worst artist of all time would look like a master artist compared to me. 😅
Board Gaming (modern games designed from last 20 years) - Actually stopped playing any video games for about 9 years because of it. Boardgamegeek website was an eye opener. Joined a club and met loads of new people through it - highly recommended.
Surfing - Up there with gaming that I still laugh out loud even when I am on my own doing so. What's not to love apart from taking a waterboarding once in a while.
Guitar - Takes near full concentration and transports me away to a place I have no idea what time it even is.
Cooking - The source of life! When you are able to cook better than most average restaurants life changes a little.
