Not only am I a huge fan of Nintendo games, I am also a huge fan of toys. No not some average action figure collector, I'm more of a collector of designer art toys! Toys that arent really based on comics, movies, games, or tv shows, just creative unique characters made up by creative artists from around the world.
Here are just a few of my favorites in my collection:
So are there any of you who still enjoy having toys? It doesnt have to be an artistic one it can be something as simple as a lego set or a teddy bear.
I have those Mario toys, a Linbeck toy, Snake and Radien, and Lock, Shock, Barrle, Jack, the Mayor, Sally, and Finklestein and a rare Ganondorf figure that goes for about $80 but I got it for $1

I collect these, too bad the maker ofthem went out of business in 08'
I have 100s of the units, or ships, it's really a fun game to play.. Even if it does take 2 hours or so to set it up so that you can play it. Here's Wikipedia's aritcle on them.
I do like to collect toys, but haven't done so for a while. Fortunately as a kid I took pretty good care of my toys (and I was fairly spoiled, so I had lots of Lego, Transformers, action figures etc.) which I still have.
As a result, I've long owned a decent collection, and up until a few years ago I'd still buy some toys (usually Star Wars stuff, as I collect SW in general). However, my priorities have somewhat shifted towards things I'll actually use - video games and tabletop wargaming stuff (WH40k)
EDIT: I should mention that, out of curiosity, I went online a little while ago to figure out how much my Transformers would be worth. Turns out quite a bit, really, especially given that they're in pretty good condition!
I collect Transformers. I love 'em! I wish I still had all the ones I did as a kid though. :/ I'd like to someday recover my favourites. I'm actually an active member of a fairly large Transformers website. I think I have 87 Transformers right now. They're mostly new since I only recently started getting them again. The older figures I have are mainly because London Drugs and Xcess Cargo carry old stock. I do have a few from my childhood though, I grew up with Beast Wars.
I think I should look into Revoltechs and Figmas, but they're probably stupidly expensive so I should get a job first. XD
