Topic: Anime & Manga (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

@Tobias95 It's actually one of my favorite slice of life animes out there and easily in my top 10 list.

It's a great enjoyable series. I loved the music and characters. Personally I felt it kind of falls apart neither the end, or rather loses direction, but it's still really good.

Well now I've watched Tonari episode 2, this is really great.

It's an odd duck for sure, it doesn't do anything exceptional, yet it tends to be highly enjoyable.

So I've been watching Neon Genesis Evangelion in German, and I must say, I'm pretty impressed. Outside of how names are pronounced, the dub sounds pretty good (especially Asuka. And whenever people are yelling, really. Which happens a lot during all of the psycho analysis sections in the last third). There are some moment where the tech could have been better, with some weird cut offs here and there, but the voice actors do a great job.

Now I'm trying to figure out how in the world I'm supposed to get ahold of foreign dubs, because I'm quite intrigued by them. Outside of going to a foreign country, I don't know how to get them. I know, at the very least, that I can get ahold of the French and Spanish dubs for Eva pretty easily since they were on the original DVD releases.

@Maskeraid About 3 or 4 years from now but the author did mention its gonna end at volume 20. So it can be as early as 2 year if were lucky.

Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic looks interesting...

It is interesting. Supposedly the story derails at some point, but otherwise the first season alone is one of the best Shounen anime I've seen in years.

@Rocko52 i watched it for like 10 episodes then they had this whole 'war/dispute' storyline that i just didn't care at all.

That was the best Arc ever, though. You really should've finished it, it becomes much more personal as it goes.

Yeah, one of our local channels used to carry some NHK World programming, so I used to watch that every week, but they dropped the NHK stuff after the first of the year...

I just got their app on our tablet though, so I should be able to start watching it again.

I'm finally gonna do it. I've been telling myself I'm going to watch Shakugan No Shana's final season for years now but TODAY I'M WATCHIN' IT! It's loading right now in another tab. Oh boy!

Assassination Classroom volume 1 isnt coming out till december... >.< well once it shows up in the pre-orders im getting it for sure.

I watched the first episode of Magi last night, I really enjoyed it. It had bright colors, charming characters, and a very cool world. (Seriously, I love the Arabian theme) I also read the first chapter, as I've heard the manga starts out kinda differently...and it definitely does but both are quite good.

I hope that they make an anime out of Assassination Classroom, that'd be cool.

fans of the manga have had some issues but they always do so who cares

so I've found the perfect way to sum up the two shows I'm watching subbed nowadays.

This Ugly Yet Beautiful World is (quite possibly) a show about teenagers having fun and ignoring interesting story and character ideas... :/
