@MuchoMochi Since you like Nisekoi i recommend Ranma 1/2 Its a very character driven love story but sometimes the characters fight /get into hilarious situations. Viz recently got the right to the show back and they are releasing sets of the show starting this year, or if you want to see it for free just wait till april and go to NeonAlley.com

Neon Alley will be free for US residents starting April 1st.

That really excites me. Although I understand it, I've never liked how Crunchyroll restricts HD streaming and new episodes of new series behind a paywall. Daisuki.net was a warm welcome, but it seems that the website only streams shows from particular publishers. With Neon Alley going free, we (US residents) will finally have another publisher-independent site for streaming anime. This kind of competition can only mean good things.

Does Neon Alley and Crunchyroll overlap in the series they're able to broadcast? It would totally suck if you had to hop between sites just to see what's available for free streaming. A plus of having one publisher own pretty much everything (which is the case with Madman Entertainment in Australia) is that there's no confusion over who owns what. As for Crunchyroll, I don't mind paying for the bonus features. Honestly ten dollars per month for top notch anime streaming is an awesome deal, especially since there's no Hulu or Netflix in Australia.

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

decided to continue watching Captai Harlock after a small hold back.
man old anime can manage to have such a great story without all that unnecessary stuff they add in the modern animes.

I remember he appeared in one series that took place in the wild west, but started this small guy. Wish I knew the name of that show.

On the topic of old anime,Have any of you guys heard of "Heidi, Girl of the Alps"

it was about this girl who lived wit her gramps in a farm. Most of the episodes were just about Heidi playing in the farm but i do recall 1 episode were she went to the town. Miyazaki was the scene designer on this anime.

wow I remember having watched this one on tv once!!!! it was so cool but in the following week they removed it to put north american series, then the anime channel(I think it was animax) soon went down the drain.... I was sad at the time, only Bleach kept airing and 5 a.m. but at least it was a joy watching it with my father before going to school!
but after a year they also stopped airing bleach...

I think there was a movie(live action) about it not sure if it was this I've watched once with my sister but I was a fast paced kid in the beggining of the adolescence(is that the right word?) and got bored early into it.

Alright, ladies and gents, we're done; pack up your future hopes, drop everything you're watching, and starting planning marathons of older shows. It was a good two months and a week, but episode 18 of Samurai Flamenco has just shown that we don't need any more anime for 2014. Thank you and good night.

that's because you didn't watch episode 19, it has the most important reveal of the whole series, the only mystery that everyone wanted to uncover since the very beggining, the very climax of the series related to the real main character that never appeared.

I'm three weeks behind on Space Dandy now. It's not even the type of show you want to be behind on so you can marathon it. I need to catch up before i miss so many episodes I don't feel like watching the show anymore.
EDIT: Episode 8 was decent. Awesome Toonami got the japanese OP finally! But not the ED. -_- ugh.

As somebody who took a break on Samurai Flamenco at the end of the first arc -

You people are scaring me. A lot. It seems like every episode from 12 onwards has some huge twist that changes the entire series...

I'm still hoping the internet theory is correct - before all this crazy stuff happened, in episode six just before the henchman takes the pill, there's a gun in the drawer next to it. The theory is that Masayoshi was shot and all the sci-fi elements are a coma fantasy

Man this show is so damn weird sometimes. Episode 9 was…I don't want to say transcendental, 'cause that's not the right term, but… felt like it. I thought it was gonna be another meh episode but it was pretty good. If anything just for that awesome tune that started at around 12 minutes into the episode.

EDIT: Found it!

Tonight's Space Dandy was pretty good. The Beetlejuicians (however you'd spell that) were cute but I'm curious about their planet. It seems, obviously, a lot like Earth, and I think there were Japanese characters written here and there as opposed to the usual fictional alien language seen throughout show (though there was some of that too). Kinda makes me wonder if that planet could be Earth, though it didn't look like it from space. If it wasn't Earth though, I hope they have an episode were they actually do visit Earth... maybe Earth's gone in the Dandy-verse. Anyways, I'm glad they keep using the Japanese OP on Toonami now. Gotta love those dramatic Dandy tears.

Also, I saw these photos earlier, looks like Space Dandy is getting these cool statues:

I don't remember Dandy ever holding that weapon, but it's cool nonetheless. If Space Dandy gets more merchandise, I would love it if they made a Q-T plush.
