Just watched Kids On The Slope, great show. I could watch the jam sessions over and over again.

Neon Alley just announced that starting april the neon alley service on the website will be 100% free. Im still not sure if that includes the app for the ps3/xbox360. They also mention that there gonna partner with huluplus so other devices can access it ( for example the wii)

I just can't help but feel like Neon Alley misses the point of a streaming service by limiting users to specific schedules and episodes...that was stuff TV always did out of necessity. It was never a perk...

EDIT: Unless...is Neon Alley also a TV channel? Because then I could understand it. I still don't like it, but still, I understand.

@CanisWolfred they mention that they are dropping the channel gimmick and its gonna be on-demand only now. Also they will merge with the viz anime service so its gonna be both dub and sub titles.

Punk Hazard seemed to set up a lot of points that will hopefully be settled in Dressrosa. My only complaint is that the fights feel a bit weak, but I can understand why, and it's gradually getting better in that regard.

That's what it felt like when I was reading/watching the Punk Hazard arc and it's true, everything should be wrapped up in Dressrosa and we should get some EPIC fights too. Also when it comes to the manga most of the characters now know who their opponents are (and some of those major fights have already started).

What I enjoy most about One Piece is marathoning a whole bunch of chapters/episodes together but waiting for that to build up is difficult and sometimes you can get spoiled (One Piece forums) when you intended to look for something completely different (I've learnt my lesson).

Anyway I think Dressrosa is easily one of the best arcs in One Piece ever. This is what a lot of people expected the "New World" to be like.

Oh my god, I just learned that the director of the upcoming Spring season anime Captain Earth previously directed Star Driver. I mean, I can't even remember what the actual plot of Star Driver is about, but I remember the raw feelings of amazement I got from watching that series. Also, I need to add Star Driver to my MAL list...

Whoa, the art style.
THIS IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED!

I liked the art style! The entire anime has such an old-school philosophy which was totally refreshing. I like it for the same reasons that I liked BECK, in that they preferred a more subdued and realistic approach.

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

Something I just thought of is that most of my favorite anime are like the saving grace of the animation company behind them. As far as I know at least.

I mean Haruhi is Kyoani, who have done some really good stuff, but One Piece is Toei, who as far as I've heard is basically relying on almost exclusively on One Piece and Dragonball since forever ago. Conan is basically the same, except with Lupin the 3rd. GONZO did Welcome to the NHK but they're often considered fairly not good.

I found a Visual Novel set in Sydney

After further research, it turns out that it's set in animeland except there's a very accurate harbour bridge in it for some reason. I actually thought I had gone crazy when I saw that.

I've been watching Madoka Magica lately, and I've been finding it... not that great? It's not bad per se, but it's just not as good as I thought it would be. Granted, I only just finished episode 2, but there are only 12 episodes, so I'm kind of worried.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

You haven't made it to episode 3 yet. Just keep watching.

This. This is one of the best animes I've ever seen. Episode 3 is when things suddenly get amazing.

Meanwhile, I've finally stopped waiting for a dub of Attack on Titan since it's on Netflix Instant Streaming, and I've found it to be one of the most addictive shows ever.

I don't know what to think of Samurai Flamenco anymore!! O.o I'll keep watching just because I went too far to drop it(I don't drop animes that I watched more than half unless they have more than 50 episodes)

it keeps changing with unbelievable plot twists!!!! I don't even know why it went back to the style of the first few episodes to start the hero madness all over!!!!!

Hey CanisWolfred, when you mentioned One Piece withdrawal, are you just waiting for the current arc to finish so you can marathon it?

Also, what was said earlier about Harlock and Yamato, which versions of each series would you all consider to be the most important/best/most worth watching?
