I actually meant for RR529, but I should probably be sticking to the apps, too...the videos always seem to freeze on my browser, and even after months of searching for answers, I still can't figure out what's causing it...or any of the multitude of problems I've been having with my browser lately. :/
@CanisWolfred, Actually, I haven't downloaded it yet, because every single user review from people with the same tablet model I have says that the app stopped working for them after the latest update...
I still need to actually try it for myself though.

I haven't been here in foreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever.
But since the new anime season is starting up I decided I'd pop in ^^.
I only found 4 shows in the spring schedule I wanted to watch. I was hoping for more but 4 will be fine haha.
UTA NO PRINCE SAMA, Legit I've been waiting for this season for over a year now and I'm super pumped.
I'll also be watching Haruhi, Kyoukai no Rinne, and Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku.

Aizen crushes the eye creatures with the sheer force of his spiritual energy, saving everyone.
Everyone complains to Captain Commander Kyoraku about his decision to enlist the aid of Aizen (though he's still restrained to a chair, with bindings that keep him from doing anything other than use his spiritual energy/kidou).
A second wave of eye creatures come, which Aizen dispatches with his "Black Coffin" kidou (so large that it engulfs the entirety of Sereitei). He admits that the attack was also meant to test the strength of his restraints (he commends Kyoraku on their durability). Uehara mentions that Aizen's kidou was more powerful than it was during his fight with Ichigo, meaning that while restrained, he's become even stronger.
The attack also damaged the portal to the Soul Palace that Uehara was building, but Aizen said he would simply use his spirit pressure to drag the palace down to their level instead (It's protective barriers have been severely damaged by Ywach, meaning Aizen can affect it).
Also, I think I'm going to take a break from Gintama (manga). While I do like it (on chapter 25), after Ranma, Rinne, and Tenchi Muyo! (well, half of the chapters in the latter), I'm kind of burned out on stories with no real overarching goal, adventure.
I think I may start up Gunsmith Cats (manga) again. I tried reading it before, and I liked it, but wherever I was reading it had chapters from the first & second series all mixed up. Maybe I can find a place that has a more coherent chapter organisation.

DBZ Kai - Bulma & Popo locate Kami's spaceship while everyone else is recovering in the hospital. The trio of Bulma, Gohan, & Krillin head off to Namek for a new adventure (though I forgot why Bulma is so PO'd. Maybe due to a filler reason that was cut in Kai?).
Kill la Kill - Yay, the tournament style arc has started (these are always pretty fun). Ryuko wasn't doin' so well for most of the bout, but came out with a surprise win. On to opponent number two!
Sword Art Online II - An episode centering around a sniper who I'm sure will be our new co-protagonist. Pretty intense firefight. It was a bit silly when she got upset that her opponent was smiling while "facing death" though (He's playing a game after all, and the game is pretty harmless at this point in time, so what if he's having fun? Unless of course the game has permadeath, and you have to start from scratch after each defeat, but it doesn't sound like that, and that still doesn't mean he shouldn't be having fun). Good episode, though.
InuYasha: the Final Act - It's revealed that the spirit of the demons trapped inside the jewel have sealed Kagome's powers at birth, fearing her (remember, the jewel was reborn with her). Also Naraku has the jewel defiled enough that he's able to extract the evil will of said demons from the jewel, and grant it life with a part of his own body. With a fancy new body to try out, the jewel's evil will hunts down the last shard (Kohaku's), but is foiled when Sesshomaru summons the power of his true sword, the Bakusaiga, and destroys the will's body (it's spirit is very much alive though, as it can't be defeated by physical means).
Naruto Shippuden - Sora tries to battle this monk guy, but comes up short (that's what he gets for not using the Keyblade). The viscous "cougar" overpowers Naruto as she pulls her best Avatar impression, but he's saved by Sora's intrusion (that, and the fact that she couldn't stomach the power of the fox inside him). They're finally able to escape as backup arrives, and now must report back to their homeland.
One Piece - Luffy's fight gets underway and is off to a good start, while Nami has been turned into a Bob's Burgers person by Kalifa (and is now just about as useless in a fight). Luckily she's saved by the intervention of the monstrous Chopper, and has turned the tables on her opponent.
Also, they reviewed Dragonball Xenoverse, 8/10.

Saw the first episode of High School DxD BorN today. I probably shouldn't be saying much, since a lot of people had a ton of time to read the novels by now and know what's going to happen already. But I'll say that staring with Issei's fear this early then what it was originally suppose to be at may be interesting, but it makes me wonder for the 4th season (especially when they cover Vol. 10). Anyways, the first episode was pleasantly enjoyable overall, the ED was pure eye candy and Rossweisse taking notes of the gang (that explains why she's been daring with Issei in Vol. 17), and can't wait for the next episode to see Kensh... err, I mean Sairaorg Bael.in action.
The publisher is One Peace Books. So if anyone hasn't read the WN version yet, you better do so, because Vol. 1 has already been taken out from B-T (unless you know Japanese and can translate it, then here you go). Vol. 1 of the LN is going to be on sale September 15 of this year and Vol. 2 on October 20, follow by the first volume manga being release on November 17.
I'm going to attempt a "Power of 5" marathon this month. Nothing big, just 5 shows per 3 genres (was going to do 5, but I doubt I could handle that), with 5 episodes per show unless I really want to watch more. A lot are gonna be rewatches, though.
The shows:
Super Robot:
Mobile Fighter G-Gundam
Getter Robo Armageddon
The King of Braves: GaoGaiGar
Big-O
Shin Mazinger Z
Mecha:
Dougram
Xabungle
Votoms
Orguss
SDF Macross
Magical Girl/Super Hero:
Smile PreCure
Cardcaptor Sakura
Magic Knight Rayearth
Saint Seiya Omega
Tiger & Bunny
I'm starting tonight and it ends May 5th (hopefully). Of course I'm starting with G-Gundam.
Aizen attempts to pull down the Soul Palace, but his power doesn't have the reach to grab it, due to his restraints.
Mayuri says it'd be an insult to his creation (the restraint) if Aizen could pull off such a feat with it on. Aizen challenges him to crank up the restraint to max power, to see which of them is truly more powerful, but unexpectedly...
Stern Ritter "U" (The Underbelly) crawls out of whatever hole he was hiding out in and blasts Aizen with his ability, which stops the flow of the victims spirit energy, which causes them to become paralyzed (so Aizen appears to be taken out of the equation for now).
The other remaining Stern Ritter show up & kill Stern Ritter "U". Realizing that Ywach has left them for dead, they have decided to assist the Soul Reapers in his defeat.
Also, the guy who did Rurouni Kenshin came out with a two part special revealing a bit of backstory on Shishio, which was pretty cool.

Has anyone seen the Persona anime shows/movies and would recommend it to someone who hasn't played any of the Persona games?
I watched the Persona 4 anime and really liked it a lot. I have only played Persona Q before watching the anime, it made me want to get a Vita so I could play the game.
I know I got my marathon going, but I decided to check out Episode 2 of Space Dandy (and by "decided", I mean I went to check the summary and ended up clicking on the full video instead), and boy, what a difference. That was really good. I might be sold on this now - this is much more what I initially expected it to be. Clearly it'll have its ups and downs, but it might still be worth it. Just need to get going with G-Gundam first...I'm on episode 4, just 2 more to go...
Sword Art Online II - Missed first half. Saw the part where sniper girl thought the game could rid her of her gun phobia (which I missed the cause of), Kirito diving in, and Death Gun choosing his next victim (said sniper girl).
InuYasha: The Final Act - The calm before the big final battle. Kagome wrestles with her future as she realizes she may have to choose between the two eras, after InuYasha's sort of indirectly worded proposal (unfortunately for them, her family returns home in the middle of their most romantic moment yet). She also manages to take her big end of year test, while everyone else rests up before the final confrontation. Bafflingly, AS removed a quite humorous scene (likely due to time constraints?) where InuYasha tried impressing her family by killing a roach with his sword... which takes out the entire kitchen as well.
Naruto Shippuden - Sora gets to know the citizenry of the Leaf village, picking a fight with EVERYONE (humor ensues)! Also, our troupe of baddies sends a message of doom to the next village on their hit list.
One Piece - Nami's fight with Kalifa comes to and end, with a 100% chance of pain! Nami & Franky put their plan to stop Chopper into action, Luffy continues giving it his all (though he's currently being outclassed), and Zoro is finally free to kick some butt!
Also, they have a new show montage, and it's pretty sweet.
