Topic: 2 Switch lite Local co-op

I just got 2 Nintendo switch lites to play games with my brother. The game I am mostly looking at is 9th dawn and Hyrule warriors. Can we somehow play a game together, they have local coop. I want to know if I can simply play the same game with my bro on my switch lite, him on his lite.

@grognik82 You should be able to but you need two copy's of said game.

Ok cool, I do have 2 copies of the game, just cant figure out how, 9th dawn has zero settings

I'm not sure about 9th Dawn, but from what I understand you cant play co-op on Hyrule warriors with separate Lites - Only split screen on one console (which obviously wouldn't work on Lite).
We were looking at picking AoC up but ended up getting Warriors Orochi 4 instead so that we can play together. Seems like a crazy omission not having online for the zleda Warriors games.

most online games have an adhoc mode (diablo3 does), it's like playing LAN on PC, no online membership required

it should be listed for each game if it has ad-hoc

this exact scenario is why there should be more local wireless play games. I would have bought age of calamity if it included this feature.

I can't think of a reason why on Earth games that support online play do not also support local wireless multiplayer on Switch.

@Silly_G when I say that in most of nintendolife threads I get mocked for not understanding development... unless you're Shigero Miamoto then you have no right to comment on what should be included in games since you're a simpleton and don't understand the rigours of development... at least I feel that's the general consensus in some of these threads.
