Topic: Search Bar

Perhaps I'm just missing something, but I haven't been able to find a search bar that exclusively shows threads and/or posts from the forum. This makes it almost a guarantee that new members will create numerous duplicate threads, because they have little way of knowing if the thread already exists. And thus, basically just creating clutter that could easily be avoided.

The search bar is located at the top of the page.

As far as I can tell, that only brings up articles for the site, not forum threads.

It brings up both. If you want to just search the forums, go to Google and Search enter site:nintendolife.com/forums/ before your search.

I believe that only works if you know the exact name of the thread for the topic you're looking for.

Actually you can type in one word and it will still work. Besides, we (the mods) usually lock or delete duplicate threads to prevent clutter

Ah, think I got it now. Thanks for the corporation, guys. You can lock/delete this thread now if you please.
