Just a small request: a while ago I submitted the Asian English physical copies of the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth Trilogy to the game library submissions. Could those be added soon so I can add them to my game collection?

Delete the Like/Dislike(Thumb up/down) feature in the main article talk backs. All it does is detoir certain people from having actual conversations, and instead seeking for attention, shooting for top comment and validation. YouTube needs to get rid of that crap too, and the ability for YT Content Creators to heart comments. I don't care if my comment is acknowleded by the content creator with some silly heart emoji, it's about discussing whatever topic is at hand.
I don't know the ins and outs of the entire YT algorithm thing, and how it works, and if it does or doesn't benifit the content creator by doing so. But i know even just thumbs upping/liking the video helps the video itself become more noticable to the masses.
@WaveBoy I feel like the hearts in the NL comment sections are mostly just a nice way to acknowledge that you read something the person wrote and it was worthwhile. Considering there is, by design, almost no conversation in the article comments, it just adds a small level of interactivity to make it feel less like everyone is screaming into the void. Since comments are permanently in order of being written and there is nothing which rewards comments with more hearts and there is no 'algorithm' to be modified by hearts, I don't think it really causes any problems here; it literally just makes things slightly more friendly and does nothing else.
I am kind of glad the forums don't have hearts however since they are designed more for discussion.
@FishyS I can understand where Waveboy is coming from but sadly this is the day and age we live in now. Stuff like upvotes or a thumbs up thumbs down system makes it so people really dont engage with a thoughtful response. Sadly though without that would.just lead to meaningless posts like "Yeah" or "I agree" or something along those lines. The problem is in this day and age people just more anti social then they were say 20 years ago.

@Tasuki I would still say the NL comment section simply is not designed for conversations... 100 linear comments by different people with no conversation threads or even a quote button like the forum has doesn't lend itself to talking. All that removing hearts would do is make it even less interactive. I can understand not liking the feature on sites where it makes a big and sometimes negative difference, but here it is just a mild effect and I would argue slightly positive (on average at least, I acknowledge some people use it for evil even if the overall effect is still small)
Not really sure what the point of thumbs down is in the comments. I feel like a comment is either reportable or it's not. And we can't see the thumbs down anyways.
@FishyS Comment sections in general arent meant for conversations that's what the froum section is for to be honest.
As for the thumbs down not sure what it does. I know years ago when it was first introduced if a comment received to many thumbs down it would be hidden from view from everyone. Problem is tbough if people didnt like a particular user they would just down vote the post so people wouldn't see that users post regardless of what the post was. People then complained saying they were being targeted and you can see why it doesnt do that anymore. I am not sure if on the backend it does something like maybe send mods an alert they can see if it breaks any rules but that just seems odd especially with the report button.
@FishyS
Another reason why i generally skip reading NL's Article comments. Many of them are just attention seeking and churn out one sentence Smart phone replies mainly seeking out vailidation, to be noticed. Think about it, some random dude on the internet actually took the time out of his day to type in "I'm so hyped for this game!!!" be it on YT or an NL Talk back? Really!? lol It's beyond pathetic, unless that person is a child or young teen than I'll give them a pass.
Meanwhile, the forums have been hit by a nice dose of Ghost Town-itus. lol As for YT heart emoji's, i wouldn't be surprised if it's another way for YT Content Creators to reel in more subscribers. When people see that a YT content creater has 'noticed' their comments with an emojo, it attracts other internet rando's because it shows that the content creator is acknowleding or has read their comment. Theyre engaging with their audience. Is it geniuine acknowledgement, or is that acknowledgement designed to attract more people to subscribe, which equals more clicks, potential patreon supporters, etc which equals more money & fame.
When a YouTuber is so big however, they don't even bother responding or hearting anything. Depends, i can see it going both ways as a nice gesture, or a means to generate a larger following for a content creator showcasing their ability to interact with their fans, which will attract more people into becoming fans.
Many of them hate doing it, but act as if it's a neccesary part of the job. Another thing I've noticed that most youtubers that respond to your comment, will generally respond just once, and never to a follow up comment you made to the initial. It's a one and done. lol That right there is a clear indication that their heart emoji and response is a tactic for the reasons i mentioned above. Usually smaller YouTubers CC's won't do that.
There's also a lot of weirdo's even in their 30's & 40's that wind up in these dellusional parasocial releationships to whoeever they're subscribed to, and they'll defend and white knight these guys to the heavens. lol they're not your pals. Theyre trying to make a living doing what they enjoy(generally), and trying to creat either a side hustle or to take it a step further and do it full time, so they're not another slave to the 9-5 system, and will do whatever means necessary to keep their channel afloat. Patreon, selling merch, live streams mainly designed around donations ect. Can't blame them! The HappyConsoleGamer for ex has a great thing going, and probably earns enough in total to do what he does full time.
@Tasuki
I've gotten plenty of lame wad responses on YT that fall in that category. After taking the time to write up a thoughtful response, in return i may get "Agreed", or "100" They're most likely TikTok brain rotters with the attention span of a zombie toad with dementia. lol
Plus people on the internet can and will turn on you on a dime. When there's no real world relationship at play, than anybody in Cyberland becomes disposable since you're just yapping with some anonymous name & avatar. You don't know who you're talking to most of the time.
Can we have a feature to prevent other user replying me when I clearly put them in Ignore list and they still keep tagging me?
This feature will protect me and other user from being tagged from other user who tried to reply with rude words.
If someone want to reply me and I had put some kind of Repel wall feature on certain user, they will not able to reply me and it will appear a message "Sorry, you can't reply this user. This user does not want to interact with you, so please do not disturb this user".
I think it way stronger than asking for Blocking.
Thank you.
