Topic: Can Mods edit user's posts?

I think I said the wrong thing/gave away too much information of a taboo topic and got a thread unpublished
Since this website doesn't have a private messaging system, it makes it difficult to settle confusion quietly
Just curious if the moderators practice post curation/editing, because so far I've only witnessed thread locking as the general go-to for threads that break the rules.
