The World Ends With You. It takes the common RPG formula and puts an modern twist into it.

It's either Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon or Pokemon Platinum. Both games have been getting heavy rotation into my DS lately, and that's saying something for me.

Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger are a tie for me!

I do. But TWEWY is better.

I haven't played it, but it's not my fault, I didn't have a DS when it came out, and then there a loads of other great DS games.

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
I haven't played that many DS RPG's though. Square Enix games are always so expensive for a DS game. I would like to get Chrono Trigger, FF IV and Dragon Quest V.

I don't really think of The World Ends With You as much of an RPG. The battles would actually make for a good arcade-style game if extracted from the story. Whatever you classify it as though, it's a remarkable game.

Although it is an action RPG, I chose The World Ends With You as my favorite DS RPG. Nothing has really touched that game on my personal lists. Having said that, I'm also loving Final Fantasy IV right now.

How about Guardia Quest from Retro Game Challenge on the DS .

Bigger titles like Pokemon DP, Final Fantasy III & IV are also great games.

The World Ends With You.

As far as I'm concerned, it's also the best game on the DS overall.

Tie between Sonic Chronicles and Pokemon Platinum (also my two favorite ds games)

Dragon Quest IV. Love that game. Tried Chrono Trigger but didn't like it (prepares to be slated ) : ' (
I think a lot of people play this game through rose tinted spectacles. I tried to like it but it just wasn't for me.

What's this bit for again?

I'd say Chrono Trigger. I own Sonic Chronicles, and... I like the battle system, but the horrible exploration kills the fun.

SonicMaster

The exploration isn't bad, but they could have added more areas to explore.

I'd say, either Pokemon Platinum or Zelda: Phantom Hourglass if it counts, that game was awesome!

TWEWY, it's awesome and i think it's one of the best game overall in the last years. I just bought Knights in the Nightmare, i have to dig it a little more but it seems quite original and fun.

Can I just say Golden Sun DS? I know it's not out yet, but I don't have to play it to know that I will love it to death and pour hundreds of hours into it.

If not, my other favorites are re-releases: Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV. And if those don't count, then Pokemon Platinum.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Metafish

Since the only RPG I own is Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, I gotta say that. I'm still waiting for Chrono Trigger to dumb down my letterbox

You can say that as much as I can say Mario & Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story.

I rule when it comes to games. So deal with it.
