I was addicted to American Popstar until I beat it. I bought 3 games so I am alternating, but I am more addicted to Shin Megami Tensei and Professor Layton.

I don't know about being addicted per se, but Pokemon Platinum and its Battle Factory are pretty close. I play a round of at least seven matches every couple of days since reaching the place back in March. Four months and ~170 hours later, no go yet--but one glorious day I'll beat those randomly-generated odds.
See, I'm just not a huge Pokemon fan, I want to see more classic games released (old zeldas, etc.)

I have to say, I had forgotten how additive Meteos was. My wife and I drag this game out from time to time and go head-to-head. It's as much fun now as ever.
I want Meteos! Gotta get that soon... I do have Sonic Rush and I just can't get "into it" if you know what I mean. I think that's because I never played Sonic as a child (didn't have a Sega, just the NES) and I was always more of a Mario kid.

Bangai-o spirits! Bangai-o spirits! It's so much fun that I had to say it twice. Meteos is an awesome game that I always take with me when I travel, and when I need a strategy fix I pop in Warhammer 40K Squad Command.
