Topic: Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing

I was curious one day as to whether Sega was planning another Sonic racing game, so I discovered on Wikipedia that they are. Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing looks awesome, with all the classic Sega characters from Superstars Tennis. What excited me was that it's coming to DS. I haven't had a handheld Sonic racing game since my Game Gear died years ago.

I also have Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii. I have Diddy Kong Racing & DKR DS, and Sonic R (Gamecube) and Sonic Drift 2 (Gamecube). I'm still getting this because I love Sega and racing. I can only carry ten DS games with me, so I'll probaby store Star Fox Command.

I heard each character has its own special finishing move to come back in the race or something, just as the final smash in brawl.
I'm afraid this game will be to much based on luck, more than Mario Kart Wii.

I heard it's not as good as Kart. It was at E3 or something.

Maybe its something like Sonic Riders, but then with all SEGA characters...

I understand that it's been around for awhile. I'm merely expressing my opinions on it. Also, I don't care how it compares to Mario Kart DS. It's simply nostalgic somewhat for Sonic Drift fans.

First off, it's nothing like Sonic Riders.
Secondly, the DEMO you saw at E3 was just a beta build and it wasn't even at full capacity. To judge it based on that is just stupidity.

Anyway, I'm definitely getting the game. Can't wait to hear about the next dozen characters, the tracks and more details on online play.
