Sudoku and clocks don't really interest me, so I'm a bit disappointed with DSiWare at the moment.

Yes because that's all there is on the system rolls eyes

Just a thought I just had.....
How many of you guys that are very happy with DSiWare own othe systems... especially other handheld systems such as PSP, iPhone, iTouch?

I don't see the need to buy any others, so you have a good point there.

But then if I wasn't happy with DSiWare I would buy an alternative.

So Far 8.0 do to Great First party titles like Flip Note Studio, Art Style Pictobits and Mario Vs Donkey Kong Minis March Agian, the only thing that's keeping it from getting a perfect score is the the lack of VC support and lack of great third party games excluding Mighty Flip Champs!

Reason I ask is that if DSiWare is you main source of DLC Games I can understand the service being acceptable. I own multiple systems and I really enjoy indy gaming, as well as portable gaming wich is a reason I picked up DSi. The problem I have is that being a multiple system owner, DSiWare isn't competive with the iPhone or PSP. Just the PSP store alone is putting the DSi Store to shame. When I spend my money on DLC Games it always ends up goin to Sony because the games are of higher quality and better priced. I added $20 USD to my DSi when I got it and haven't added any since.... and Ive prob spent at leat $75 USD on DSC PSP Games in the last 6 months.

I own a windows mobile smartphone and I used to download a lot of content for that (guitar hero, bejeweled, etc) infact a hell of a lot because they were easily available to pick up and play when I was travelling however now im not having to change carts etc and its so easy to change between games stored on the DSi my smartphone gets no serious gametime whatso ever. I just prefer the control system of the DSi and now there are downloadale bite sized games on the DSi that suit my needs im very happy.
Also the price seems better, had I an iphone I may have felt different because there is a lot of cheap and cheerful content on there but considering I was buying my games from different suppliers rather than a cheap app store I was spending quite a lot of unnessecery cash.
I do have to say though I really enjoyed the smartphone version of Cluedo it was like a point and click adventure and would love Hasbro to make it for the DSi.

@Raptor.... I actually had no intention of getting a DSi at lauch as I usually wait to see how the services/systems progress before jumping on ship, but my wife was like hey early birthday present if you want to trade in one of the DSs so I was like "Heck Yeah" My initial reaction was that after the sucess of Mega Man 9 we would be getting similar games on DSi. Surely Nintendo was wanting some of that money on cheap easy to develop games and no resale value. Straight money and fan service. Instead DSiWare has been more of a Casual Gaming Service, wich is making them money but for a Hardcore Gamer its very depressing. So I get my gaming elsewhere. Im not mad, its just I barely get any Nintendo gaming anymore because the Nintendo i grew up with is so hard to find.

I agree with Ballistik. There has only been one game I downloaded and didn't like and that was a little bit of Planet Puzzle League. My only problem is how long I've been waiting for Mighty Flip Champs and seeing as that's only a petty issue I'd have to give it 8.5/10. It's brilliant but there's still room for improvement.

Fatem... Planet Puzzle League express is one of my FAVES! Lol... but at least we are on the same page score-wise! And we is happy campers!

Used to have a PSP, but that was years ago (wasn't many good games then so I sold it, don't really regret it)... never even seen an iPod Touch or iPhone. It's clear enough to me though that those services are far better. But really, DSiWare has all I need right now. A few light games. So yeah, personally I find it acceptable. Whether there's better out there means little to me as I don't have money coming out my ears, so I can think of better things to spend my money on than more than one handheld gaming system (as much as I'd like to have them all). I've always been a fan of DS as a system and DSiWare, which is a bonus, is good enough .

Actually I do have one major complaint. That is there is not one simple run and jump game in europe. It's great that developers are experimenting with new and innovative idea but I want just one game when the controls are pretty much "Left and Right to move left and right and press A to jump."

wait europe has oscar in toyland its a platformer not the best one alive but it's a platformer nonetheless. Unless you live in australia which i find is unfair since we all deserve a shot at a platformer even though this one isn't a great one it'll still get our attention until another one come out.

The games worth waiting for are the best kinds.

Rayman is a great addition to the DSiWare lineup.

Forget about Oscar now it appears that Europe gets Zombie BBQ while Australia doesn't. I'm changing my opinion from "It's brilliant" to "It's great" for that. And yes Great is not as good as Brilliant.
