I honestly prefer the cards if I can find people to play against. It was probably the most strategic card game until nintendo took it over; they completely morphed the game. I like nintendo as a company but that one wasn't one of their strong points. @Adam I think he means that you have morph your strategies to accomodate your card limit-which can kind of form a maze if it means you're taking new directions.
I mainly play the games, but I used to collect the cards. Some of my cards actually go for a nice price on eBay.
It's amazing how prices grow.
I recently purchased so from a garage sale for 50 cents. I looked it up and found out I got 60-75 dollars worth of cards. I even have some first edition ones. It makes me miss the ones I had as a kid.
