Mole pokemon = Epic

Yeah, I would once in a while check on the progress of the series just to how good or bad its gotten, though I have lost interest in it, do to the lack of continuation. Ash has become one of those characters that they need to take a chance and end his journey and make a new cast of characters because he has seem to become the main supporting character and has gotten a little old.

I feel really guilty not playing Heartgold enough and not getting all 16 badges.

Here we Go again!

Lots of new ones revealed, a lot of which are evolutions of ones we've already seen.

The gym leaders have been revealed too. In addition to the ones revealed (Dento, the other two and Aloe), we now have a bug type trainer, a female electric type trainer, a ground type trainer that looks like a cowboy, a female flying type trainer, an ice type trainer that I think is wearing a mask (sentai maybe?) and version exclusive gym leaders for the final gym (Black gets Iris, who is a dragon type trainer, White gets an elderly looking man whose type is unknown to me).

Still no dark gym and why is the ice badge the same as from Diamond and Pearl

I think they got really unoriginal with this game. I mean, a mushroom with a Pokeball head, come on.
But the worst Pokemon design in history was Snubull.

I hereby declare Pokémon Black & White to have the ugliest new Pokémon in the series by far.

I do not agree that they are extremely unoriginal, though. I think this game seems to be an improvement over Diamond & Pearl which had only a few original things. Black & White's are just weird and ugly, but at least there are some creatures I missed in previous games such as an electric eel and and a zebra. Sure, there are some rehashes of old concepts but overall it's an improvement over the last generation, where the Pokémon where almost exclusively rehashes or even (pre)evolutions of older designs. If only they didn't get uglier with each game..

And what the f%#@ is up with that ice cream Pokémon!!!

Also the mushroom Pokemon is solid proof that these creatures are genetically engineered fighting machines built for captivity in Poke balls. I know we were all suspecting it but the fact that the Pokemon's head has the Poke ball pattern on it is hard evidence.

There are now 156 new pokémon bringing the total up to 649. I wonder if it will be possible to collect them all until the sixth generation comes around. I haven't even gotten all of them on the current generation yet.

I like the new pokemon, tbh.
and about some of them being unoriginal, well it's the 5th generation, so yeah. it had to happen somewhen and personally i dont care

The new pokemon are really "meh" to me.

God most of them are terrible. I think Pokabu is for me this generation what Bulbasaur was the first generation. A Pokémon I don't even wanna see evolved. But if I get this game, I probably choose Mijumaru, at least he looks good evolved. But damn they look bad. Thankfully, as far as I can tell, there are new evolutions of Pokémon of the previews generations.

I don't think there are new evolutions. Game freak said you can't get any old pokémon until you beat the champion and pick up the national Pokédex. They aim for making the series feel like a fresh new start. I don't see how adding pokémon that evolve from or into older ones fits with that philosophy.

That pink fish looks a lot like Luvdisc, though.
