One of the best games ive downloaded but the last two times ive closed my ds and come back about 10mins later the game froze, i had to turn it off and lose unsaved data. Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?

I put it in sleep mode quite often, and never had that happen. Try redownloading the game.
I was going to get this game, thinking it was a remake of the computer game Oregon Trail II or something. Luckily my friend had it on his iPod Touch and showed me it and it wasn't anything like it so I saved myself 800 points. I'm sure some people like it, but it didn't look good to me.

My first impressions are they completely removed the retro experience, which makes me sad; I'll have to keep an eye out for something else to deliver on that. But the mindless point and clicking is pretty fun, and overall there's some great work done by Gameloft.
I just got a DSi for Christmas, and this game was my first download. I seriously can't put it down. Oregon Trail has always beena favorite, so I was so excited to see it available in DSiWare. Definately worth the points for me!
