even if all that supports it at the start is a single video format from SD cards or even if it doesn't and all we get is a very, very small selection of games that use it at the start (for example some background code in these DSi only games that haven't come out yet) I am not lying, I would upgrade from my DSlite

Somehow I think that both screens will be 4 inches.......

you'd think so but it doesn't really need to be if you make the bottom screen wider you have to make the whole unit wider and most (if not all) games don't seem to require both screens being the same size anyway .... on two different sized screens games like Mario Kart DS and New SMB Wii would work well, games like Yoshi's Island would work... games like Okami and Mighty Flip Champs would have to do the "Wario Land Shake" thing also, making two higher res big screens would cost a lot more than making one big and one the same size
That's all? A slightly larger screen? I don't see the point
Same here. This is like the DS and the DSLite... Only a lame redisign that doent give anything new to the user...
Yes... Just like that.... and I really hated the DSlite. The GBA port makes me nervous because it sticks out... this will be the same exact thing here.
I get the feeling that a lot of people will be saying this but what about previously bought DSiWare? This is a major issue for me.
I doubt they'll let you transfer games. Buying this is completely redundant. It's size is bigger then the phat and heavier then the PSP 1000. Nintendo clearly thinks this as well since they didn't hype it up at all. The market they are trying to sell this too is probably too small for any of us to really care, cause it makes no sense to go backwards on mobility with a handheld.

I was right about both screens being bigger. I can't imagine Nintendo doing something so odd as to make one screen bigger than the other. It really throws off the whole aesthetic of the device and makes games that utilize both screens in a column like Aquia look weird. Plus, all DS games to date would look weird on the machine. Also, that would mean special games or whatever for one small niche machine.
