Can anyone give me some tips for the Final Fantasy III remake? I've recently started playing it and I need some bow and arrow tips. Should I equipt this weapon? Because my character can only hold one arrow at a time and I keep having to buy more. Is there any way to use unlimited arrows?

Anyways, this game has gotten me into Final Fantasy. The only one I played before was the original, but I just couldn't get into that one. However, this game is amazing!

Currently Playing:
Xbox 360: Arkham City, MW3, Gears 3, UMV3, Battlefield 3
PS3: inFAMOUS 2, LBP 2. Rachet & Clank: All 4 One, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3
Xperia Play: Crash Bandicoot
iOS: Sonic CD, Infinity Blade, Arkham City Lockdown, Mega Man X, Chrono Trigger

You can add arrows together in bulks on the item screen, and they can likewise be equipped (and bought) in bulks. You can equip up to 99 arrows. No way to get unlimited, but arrows are rather cheap to buy. As for whether you should use them, they can be useful... check if the combination of bow and arrows gives a higher attack rating than the combination of the two weapons you would've used instead - if they are the most powerful alternative for your character, go ahead.

Also, note that, unlike FF1 and FF2, shields are mostly worthless in this game. Carry weapons in both hands.

I thought I remember that when I played FF1 when you held two weapons it would lower your accuracy a lot. Does it in this game?

You couldn't dual wield in FF1. You could in FF2 with no penalty, but using a shield boosted the all-important Evade stat (and the weapon experience system meant you had to have use the shield in tons and tons of battles to get that multiplier up), and due to the multiplier system used for enemy attacks, you'd get absolutely murdered without a high Evade stat.

FF3 allows dual-wielding, and the evade stat is nowhere near as crucial as in FF2, so it's absolutely recommended to do so.

Thanks SO much for the tip. Dual wielding has helped me dominate in battles.

Also, I tried playing a ROM of the old Japanese NES version of Final Fanatsy III. While I couldn't understand a WORD the game was saying, I noticed when you started off in Altar Cave you had 4 party members. Is the Japanese version different from the remake?
