Ehhh... This might be repetitive, if it is so, I'm sorry. I'm deciding whether I should get either Shantae, or Cave Story. Now, I've already played through the PC version, but I've never touched Shantae in my life. Love platformers, though. I can't decide because even though I've already have the PC version, there's a ton of features and new additions in the DSiware version (apparently), and... well, it's portable. :/ But I've also heard Shantae is really awesome as well. What's your opinion?

Nope! The only DSi features I think are Time Attack (of the hell level) and Jukebox (music player). There's also three difficulties (does the PC version have that?) The Wii version has optional graphics, music, and modes such as boss and curly mode.

I like Cave Story more, but Shantae is fun to play through if you don't want Cave Story.

Oh, thanks. Guess I'll get Shantae then, because I've already played through the original Cave Story. The PC version only has one difficulty level, but I'm not interested in trying out the hard one. (I've already tried it on the Wiiware demo and I don't think I have the skills to get through the game with that little hp, save points or no.) Guess I'll get it sometime later. >>

I just purchased Flipper on DsiWare. Here's a rundown on this awesome game.

Flipper: 500 POINTS - 3D Pixelated Puzzle Platformer (whew. lots of p's)
A lovely tale of friendship that begins with a boy. He just received a new goldfish, and after admiring it for a few minutes, he falls into bed. Late in the night, a shadowy figure emerges from the darkness and steals his beloved pet. When the boy wakes up in the morning, he cries tears of pain and leaps at the chance to save his pet.
Flipper is a 3D platformer that utilizes the critically acclaimed voxel engine, which allows players to alter every single pixel of the environment using power-ups. There are a LOT of those in Flipper, including a dynamite capsule (explosions!), a restore capsule (repairing!), and a platform creator (build!). Also included is a point-and-click interface, used to place power-ups and make the controls a lot more accurate. There are many levels and worlds, but the overall game is short. A replay factor is the inclusion of Stars, the challenging reward each player gets after unearthing one of these. This is the biggest part of the game, and the most fun. OVERALL RATING 8.9/10

Arcade Hoops Basketball. It is really inexpensive - an oldie but a goody. I've played it for about four hours so far (off and on for two weeks) and I'm still digging it .

@slidecage - This thread is strictly to help other NL users help other users choose DSiWare games to buy. There's a DSiWare predictions thread buried somewhere within this forum for discussions like this, and you can feel free to revive it at any time. If any game you've found to be coming soon really interests you that much, you can always make a thread solely dedicated to said game. Just be sure to use proper punctuation in the thread title (at a minimum), as bad grammar/punctuation really irritates me a lot.

Recommend:
EA's Sudoku- With the ability to save up to 3 profiles and create your own puzzles or copy them from any source this game never gets old. If your into sudoku more then action games or need variety in your games I'd go with this.

Don't Recommend:
Army Defender- Unless your a fan of high score only games that offer one game mode.

@slidecage: I thought Zoo Frenzy was decent/good. Let me know if you have any questions about it.
@zranoll: Fire Panic is a great game. The best of the ones you mentioned, IMO. Frenzic isn't a bad choice either.

Oh and I personally think you can do better than Don't Cross the Line.
