Topic: Seeing a Nintendo DSi Changed my Life

For as long as I can remember I've owned a Burgundy DSi XL. I didn't have any good games besides Sonic Rush and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, no Mario Kart DS, NSMB, Mario 64 DS, Zelda, nothing. Somehow I got a ton of playtime out of it.

For this holiday season, I got my hands on some normal DSis to send to some young relatives. I thought that the smaller DSi system would have puny little screens and the controls would be too small, but to be honest, I fell in love with it. Before a few days ago, I had never known what the size of a normal DS was. I grew up in a world of XL models and seeing the sleek, pocket-sized beauty of the original DSi changed my view of the world.

It made me love the small and normal DSes but it also made me appreciate my giant DSi XL and its wonderfully huge screens.

That's a great little story. It's cool you found and like both. I've had the opposite experience. I've never owned an XL, and I realized pretty early on that they're not for me. My favorite handheld, actually, is the GBA Micro. After that, my favorite is the SP. And then the DS Lite.

Yeah, from what I've seen online, the GBA micro is really a beautiful system. I don't actually own one because they're expensive.

I prefer XL / LL size.
That's why i played my 3DS and NDS games on my 3DS XL / LL machines.
Bigger is better and the games got louder sounds on New 3DS XL machines.
I have NDS Lite machine too for playing GBA and NDS games.
