I bought the game on Tuesday (along with MvC3!) and it came with a Slime plush!

Anyhow, so far, I'm really enjoying it- surprisingly a little more than DQIX. Probably because the pacing in battles is much more quicker and smoother.

I'm kinda stuck though as I need to talk with the King and Queen of Somnia (not going to spoil anything further). If anyone knows what I'm reffering to, then could you please point me to the right direction. I refuse to use a walkthrough and rather get tips and stuff from people. I know, sounds crazy- but I never used a walkthrough to play DQIX to the final boss (which I'm stuck on and need to level up my Sage).

What platform did you get that for?

X360. Kinda regret it as the the 360 controller is not suitable for fighting games- least fight pads are available. And I don't even OWN a 360 or a PS3. I use my brother's. Considering buying a 360 after I get my 3DS. Oh, and it was the SPECIAL edition.

... Do you have DQVI by any chance?

Use the Thumbsticks, they work great.

Nice.

I'll add you when you do get a 360.

Sure, I'll add ya when I get it

By April at least, and since my school sent me a Drawing Pad that I had no idea about, I guess the money I was planning on saving for that will in part be invested on an X360. And I already have an account. I think it's komicturtle92, as I made it last year. If you can't find it, then I know what other name I put but I'll tell ya when I get it.

Are you planning on getting DQVI at some point?

I'm really looking forward to this game, as it's looking to be the best out of the remakes. I haven't seen it advertised or anything in Australia, so I'm not sire if it's coming soon or not. Anyway, when it becomes available on Play-Asia I'll probably get it, then will let you know what I think of it.

Being a big DQ fan, i want to pick this up right away, but i'm trying to discipline myself since i have other RPGs that i still need to get through, including DQIX (which i took a break from a while back and just haven't gotten back to yet).

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.
Urban Champion is GLORIOUS.

I just need to beat the final boss in DQIX May end up doing it when I get further into or even complete DQVI.

I'm assuming you're in Aus or UK.. Sucks that they did not announced anything for those territories. It's a really good game. I find the music more enjoyable than DQIX. Has a REAL orchestral sound to it compared to DQIX somewhat annoying trumpets and stuff. I dunno, but some of DQIX's soundtracks annoy me... And it's the only one along with Dragon Quest Joker (sounds like they use the same soundfont).

I'm gonna get it sometime after I get my 3DS. I'll pick it up along with Radiant Historia, which also looks awesome.

A few hours after my post, it came available on Play-Asia. I was gonna wait for it to be released in Aus, but I think I'm gonna import it soon. Will give me some time to play through it before Okamiden comes out.

Anyway, how you enjoying it so far? Is it much of a step up (graphically, gameplay-wise, enjoyably, etc.) from V?

Still no release date in Europe for this either.. but at least it should be easy enough to import from the US. Is there any word on if this is going to be another limited release, like DQ5 was? Or if the success of IX has made them put a bit more faith in it?

I just bought IV and V (managed to track it down for cheap!) so I'll give it a while before bothering with VI, especially with all the big releases coming in March, but I am looking forward to it.
