I'll just get one for now, but I may get more in the near future.

BTW, Domo is my new avatar!

And extend your amount of DSiWare, I assume.

Yes, but actually I've played three of the five so far and they're actually pretty good. Better than I expected, I should say...

@Cheesy: Which ones did you get? I wanna know how Hard Hat, Course and RnR are if you have those.

Downloaded them all this morning before work but it sucked because I didn't have time to play them before posting the impressions topic... Now I have played each and every one of them I must say... I love White Water Domo, Domo Pro Putt and Hard Hat the best. Great games! So worth the price! Get them all! I love Domo! LOL ;) I give each of these a 8/10 so far just for value alone in terms of pricing (what else do we have that is just as awesome for 200 points each?) but also I think they are extremely well put together and easy to pick up and play, Thank You Nintendo!!

EDIT: I didn't mean to say Hard Hat, I meant to say Rock N Roll Domo ;) What a great game that is! So much in tiny packages for $2 each. Not bad!!

I think I might take a chance on Hard-hat Domo or White-water Domo. The screenshots for the other ones look pretty bad.
@ballistikboy: I can't get anything until 3:00 today so be sure to post impressions if your getting them all
EDIT: WTF!? These are all made by Nintendo!? In that case I may have to get all 5!

White Water Domo and Putt Domo are my faves so far, I gave each game a 8/10 for extremely valued pricing but also great depth and quality of the games themselves. Great job, Nintendo! What a wonderful DSiWare update today!

@lockd: Well, the Help guide is pretty straight-forward...

@ballistikboy/Anyone else: Can you tell me more about Crash Course, RnR, and Hard Hat?

I have them all. Course is my favorite. It's alot like Excitebike just without all the jumps, but it's very fun, albeit a blittle frustrating. RnR is another great one. Just a basic rhythm game, but is quite addicting. It even comes with a mixer mode where you can listen to any song in any background and even tempo! Hard Hat is also alright. Not the best on, but it's mostly just a quick thinking puzzle game where you have a ladder. One half of the latter is one color, the other half is a different color. You have to match those colors with the colors of the floor and the ceiling. Once you get it, you move up one floor, and there are 100 floors (in the first difficulty level, anyway). And for the heck of it, Putting is just a generic mini golf game, gets a bit harder but it's not bad. White Water is my leat favorite, for the physics and controls just bother me a little. They're all great though.

The screenshots and pages here on NintendoLife show just about what those games are visual wise, but they are great strategy games as well and I love them all. Full reviews coming up soon! I would say Hard Hat and Putt Domo are the best, with White Water coming in a close 3rd.

Can you say more on RnR? How's the difficulty? Can you change the tempo on the songs used in the actual stages too (not just the mixer)?

Why is Course frustrating? Is Course like White Water in any way? Is Course worth it, IYO?

Mabbit

i first saw domo, and thought "what the--!?" i mean, does anyone actually know what he does? and he pops up all around the place too! theres merchandise about him at target, images on the internet, and even if you go engrishfunny.com you see him as their score system! it just shows how kids will love anything that looks like a turd

PPD's difficulty is fine. It's hard at first, but it get's easier when you become more used to it. And for RnR, no you can only change song tempo in the mixer. And crash course is frustrating in the fact that the last two stages are a b*tch. The last one especially. You only race one other person in this last stage, but he's too good. He can always make a comeback right near the end, and if you mess up just ONCE, you might as well just start over, because you're not even gonna see him again.

Are Course and RnR worth a purchase, in your opinion? Is RnR difficult/have enough content?

Hey guys. I've decided to be the guinea pig for Rock 'N' Roll Domo. Here's my review.

Basically, there are 3 modes in the game, a normal difficulty tour, a harder tour, and the mixer (where you practice songs.). In the game, there are 5 songs. It may not seem like a lot, but it's good for $2. The songs are pretty fun, and even a bit cute. You can control by using the stylus or the A button and control pad. I prefer to use the stylus. The songs may be hard at first, and they get harder as you progress, but once you get the hang of it, It's actually quite fun.

In Normal tour mode, you play through the 5 songs at different venues (1 song per venue, but for some reason, one venue has 2 songs). If you clear the normal tour, you get a harder tour on the menu. When you start, all you can do in the mixer mode is listen to the songs you've found with correct notes played (It can be sometimes helpful though), but once you clear normal mode, you can have fun with the songs. You can choose the difficulty, venue, speakers, and even tempo! It's fun to play with the songs this way!

Overall, this is a very fun game and well worth its 200 point price tag.

8/10

Any time!

My next one will probably be Pro Putt.

The golf one is decent, but the Crash Course one was bland and boring.

Plain old gamer :)
