Well, far out of left field (as usual)... 5 Domo-kun titles were released today in North America for 200 pts for each of the 5 games... first impressions, anyone? Here's what NintendoLife has to say about it all:

"You might be familiar with Domo-kun - The furry brown mascot of Japan's NHK television station strangely became more popular in North America than he is in his homeland. That's why he stars in not one, but five new DSiWare games. In Crash-Course Domo, you participare in a bicycle race. In Hard-Hat Domo you must solve construction site puzzles to climb up each building. Pro-Putt Domo is a golf game, Rock-n-Roll Domo is a rhythm game, and White-Water Domo is a kayaking game. All of the games look pretty fun, and for 200 DSi Points each you should be able to find one you like. We'll review all of them over the course of the week."

Here's Nintendo's press release regarding Domo:

"Nintendo DSiWare

Crash-Course Domo™
Publisher: Nintendo
Players: 1
ESRB Rating: E (Everyone) - Comic Mischief
Price: 200 Nintendo DSi Points™
Description: In Crash-Course Domo, you'll guide Domo across the finish line in six increasingly difficult bicycle races. Steer Domo around other racers and patches of rough terrain, pedaling as fast as his stubby legs will allow.

Hard-Hat Domo™
Publisher: Nintendo
Players: 1
ESRB Rating: E (Everyone)
Price: 200 Nintendo DSi Points
Description: In Hard-Hat Domo, Domo is a construction worker trying to get to the top of a building. Match ladder colors to floor colors - using cans of paint, if necessary - to earn points and continue climbing higher. Reach the top floor to clear each of the four levels of difficulty.

Pro-Putt Domo™
Publisher: Nintendo
Players: 1
ESRB Rating: E (Everyone)
Price: 200 Nintendo DSi Points
Description: In Pro-Putt Domo, Domo hits the green in an effort to win the world putt-putt golf championship. Domo competes to finish with the lowest number of strokes in either the nine-hole Small Classic or the 18-hole Big Open tournament. Along the way, he'll collect coins and earn bowls of meat-and-potato stew while avoiding bunkers and water hazards.

Rock-n-Roll Domo™
Publisher: Nintendo
Players: 1
ESRB Rating: E (Everyone)
Price: 200 Nintendo DSi Points
Description: In Rock-n-Roll Domo, you'll control Domo as he takes the stage in search of fortune and fame. Hit the right notes in rhythm (using the touch screen, if desired) to rock the house. If your timing needs work, use the mixer to practice songs. Complete five different songs at a series of increasingly larger venues to help Domo become a superstar.

White-Water Domo™
Publisher: Nintendo
Players: 1
ESRB Rating: E (Everyone)
Price: 200 Nintendo DSi Points"
Description: Take control of Domo as he hops into his kayak and races the river rapids in White-Water Domo. Jump and paddle as you steer Domo through the treacherous rapids in an effort to cross the finish line as quickly as possible. Finish with one of the top three times to proceed to the next stage.

Hardy83... it looks like a 5 dsiware game release day wasn't that much of a "stupid dream" or foolish after all.. lol.

I, for one, can't wait to download each of these 5 games. They look to be very affordable and fun.

I think I might take a chance on Hard-hat Domo or White-water Domo. The screenshots for the other ones look pretty bad.
@ballistikboy: I can't get anything until 3:00 today so be sure to post impressions if your getting them all
EDIT: WTF!? These are all made by Nintendo!? In that case I may have to get all 5!

Just got Pro Putt and White Water. Thinking about RnR and Crash Course but I'll post my impressions on the first two when I play 'em. I wanna get back to MS Winter Games though.

Can someone tell me how many blocks the Domo games take? I assume they're small but you never know.

KnucklesSonic8

Yep, they're small. I'll double check.

Corbie and I will be your guides through this week-long Domomania. The one I'm looking forward to most is Rock N Roll Domo. I'm only mentioning that because I want to see if time makes a fool of me.

Thanks for that, KS8! I was wondering whether I needed to free up some space for my impending Domo Download Fiesta, but it seems like I'll make it. Good info.

Thank GoNintendo. I was in the process of looking up each one individually when I found out it's already been done.

Thanks for the info! That's a relief that I won't need to free up too much space. I think Hard-Hat Domo is officially the smallest DSiware game!

My impression? A bad one.

I'm really enjoying Pro Putt thus far.

edit:
No touch screen controls on this one from what I can tell. Would've been a nice touch.

Trying White Water now...
Main Menu music is the same as PPD.

I think I just might get PPD. Hows the RnR and WW?

KnucklesSonic8

I'm almost ready to say that Pro-Putt Domo is completely worth the points. Gotta play a bit more.
White-Water Domo is kinda neat. Gotta play it a bit more. I like PPD better so far.

Those are the only ones I have for now. I'm tempted to get RnR though.

KnucklesSonic8

Cheezy

I'll get them all, I think...

Who Are You?

Shane904

RnR looks like Elite Beat Agents from the Screen shots lol
