It came $10,000 over! It's not Double Fine Adventure, but I'd still call it as success if there ever was one. Now, the slow and painful wait until September begins...
Haha, before I realised there was a website that tracked Kickstarter projects, I wrote myself a script to check the amount of funding every 30 mins. I was eagerly watching that right up until the end!
Jason Rohrer said he didn't get the full $90,000 - he thinks a few credit card charges might have bounced - but hopefully he'll be able to track it all down. It's good that Jason got a bit of extra cash for all his hard work.
I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.
True, but $11,000 that he didn't get was due to Kickstarter and Amazon fees as well as bounced charges. And he said previously that he had accounted for those fees with the $78,715, so it would seem that he got more than $1,000 extra in the end, which is great news.
EDIT: Were you the guy in the comments section saying "we can do this, just $x more!" until the end?
Well, the Kickstarter is basically completely over - the games have been mailed out and people are starting to receive them. I haven't got my copy yet but hope to do so soon.
For anyone who's interested in getting a copy of the game, you can buy one here:

I got a manila envelope, which contained the game- hand signed and numbered. Then I got 4 stamps from Belgium and England, plus a Belgian coin. Finally, in 4 smaller envelopes marked 'DTOL Lot #...', I got 4 real, uncut diamonds. Unreal.
I'm curious abiuth this game... I see it's multiplayer. Does it has DS download so i can play it with my brother? Also, who's he gameplay. Seemed interesting the few things they showed in the Kicksterter. Also, why not in DSiWare?
Yes on Download Play (with the small caveat of the music not being sent over), and it's like a board game but on DS so that way you don't know what your opponent is doing (it's a game of deception), and not DSiWare because Rohrer wanted to potentially reach a much wider audience (more people own DSes than DSis and 3DSes, or at least they did when he started making this game).
So, how's the gameplay? I might buy a copy but I'm not completely sold on it yet.

So, I decided to order a copy Tuesday night and it already arrived today. It was in a handwritten-addressed package and traveled from California to Ohio. That's some quick service. Thanks much, Jason Rohrer. I'm going to try the game out tonight and I'll post my thoughts on it later.

I'm not sure if anyone is interested but here are my thoughts on the game. The single player is definitely a training mode but I still had fun with it. The two player is absolutely where this game shines. My boyfriend and I had a blast with the game. We play those European strategy board games, like Carcassonne, Jambo, Lost Cities, etc. and if you like those games at all, this is definitely up your alley. It is easily as deep as any of those and just as much fun. The game works well and plays well. It even looks good on the 3DS with the graphics stretched. The music is perfect for this style of game and does not get old. I am actually very, very happy I purchased it. There's nothing else like it on the DS or 3DS. Thanks again, Jason Rohrer for making a great game!
