Possibly if Nintendo were to remake them for more modern audiences. I've always wanted to play through something like Zelda II or Kid Icarus, but I just completely and utterly suck at them...
Then again there are quite a few people who don't Ninty to piss on their nostalgia chips, so what do you do?

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
I have always wanted to see a console re-release of The Legend of Zelda with more modern sensiblities (and hopefully in the Wind Waker graphical style), so I agree with you there, StarFox. :3

I certainly wouldn't be adverse to the idea even if they are on virtual console. The pick up and play nature of some of these games really do lend themselves to portable systems. The problem I had with the original classic NES series was the price of the games (£15 seemed like an awful lot for one NES game), whilst you may have got your moneys worth with the likes of Super Mario Bros and Castlevania, other games simply were not worth paying that much for. Some of the choice of games was highly questionable as well. Virtual console has certainly proved to be a much more cost effective way of obtaining these classics in my opinion.
