I played the "Befriend a Pokémon" game on the main website back at the start of April, and won myself an Umbreon. Now when I go on the the Global Link, it tells me I'm not qualified! I've sent an email to Pokemon Tech Support, so I hope they'll be able to help. How have other people found this situation to be for them?
Oh. My. God. I have the SAME freaking problem! I played the hard game, also got an umbreon, and when I went to check on the 19th May, it says I'm not a participant! Then I went to send a letter to the Tech Support, but there, I encountered another problem. You have to log in to send a mail, and the page says I'm not logged in. They redirected me to my profile on pokemon.com for me to log in, so I logged out and re-entered. When I went back, they still tell me I'm out.

It's sad, because I really want my umbreon.
Same. I googled around, and it seems a lot of people are suffering actually. I also had the same problem with logging in, but I solved this by temporarily using Internet Explorer. Normally I use Chrome.
Oh ok, I see. But I always use Internet Explorer, and that problem of writing a mail happened. I also googled around, but me, I only see people satisfied. I really don't get it. The only people suffering are people who didn't know the eeveelutions were released the 19th. I hope they can fix this problem soon.
Did you guys check the Pormotion Tab? I got an Espeon, I was hoping to get a female to breed Dream World Eevee.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Well yes. I've checked the promotions button. In there, there was the promotion for the munna C-gear and the eeveelution promotion. When I clicked the eeveelution one, there was a box saying "for promotion participants" and in the box it said something like sorry, you are not qualified, please go to the Trainer Club for more informations.
And to Wheels2050:
How do you check if your choice is saved or not? The game's removed so I don't know how to do it now. And, it's a glitch? Strange. Especially on the net.

I was only able to check when the game was still there by playing it again - when it loaded up, it informed you that you had already made your choice of eevolution and couldn't do so again. I doubt you can still check that.
From what I've read from several different places on the net, it seems that for some reason the choice of eevolution they made did not get saved to their account. As a result, the system thinks they're not 'qualified'. No-one seems to know what caused it, but if it's widespread enough I'm sure we'll hear about it from Game Freak soon enough.
For people's benefit, if either of you hear back from Tech Support let everyone else know what happens!
I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

Thanks anyways for the informations. I didn't send something to Tech Support because of the problem I had. But you're right. Since many people were faced with this problem, I'm also sure Game Freak should do something about it.

Well it seems that a lot of people are having this error, and a person who wrote to Nintendo got a response. Nintendo tells everyone who has a problem to not to worry, that we should get our eeveelutions in about a couple of weeks. I guess that means good news, doesn't it? Hopefully they solve this problem soon!~
I suggest filing a Tech Support ticket with Nintendo ASAP. They know of the problem and have said they will try to get people their missing Pokemon by June 22nd. Below is the email I received from Pokemon Company Tech Support earlier this week.
Hello again Trainer!
We apologize for the extended wait on your Eevee Evolution.
We anticipate reviewing and investigating the first batch of requests by June 17th. Successful investigations and those confirmed to have completed the promotion in its entirety should be able to receive their Pokémon by approximately June 22nd. We will try to update you as soon as possible with any further details.
Thank you very much for your patience thus far, and again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you for playing Pokémon!
