This is the most hyped DS game since GTA I guess, but is it fun?
To me, it does not look fun, and the hype is over the ambitious of programming a picto reacto dictionary game. Looks to me like it could get old fast, a novelty.
Does anyone feel that way, or should I for sure check it out? I though Drawn to Life was kind of the same story, not to this degree. Novel idea that maybe is not so deep in the fun department.

It's some of the most fun you can possibly have playing a videogame. And once the novelty wears off (and so far it absolutely hasn't), you're left with a really damn fun puzzle game. I'll admit I was pretty bummed about the touchy controls at first, but it's really more of a learning curve than an actual problem, I've found. You get used to it, and soon it's not a big deal anymore. Writing this game off as a "picto reacto dictionary game" would be a grave mistake. This is something special--a game that actually challenges your creativity. And yeah, it's really freakin' fun.

Just to be clear I am not writing it off, I am just guaging if ppl still think it is fun after a day or two.

So did you watch it? I love this game, and I agree with everything Kid_A said. Hey, Have you beat 3-11 action yet? I always get to the pirate and die.... Oh I figured it out. just as i said that.
This game is suited to older players, younger player will have very small vocabularies and therefore they will be repeating words for every puzzle, sure it gets the work done, but sort of ruins the sandbox feel to it when you constantly bring a Jet pack to give to Maxwell.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
You haven't been paying too much attention around here, have you? Okay, watch carefully: Scribblenauts is not fun. There, now you've seen it. Of course, this is in my opinion, which seems to be quite different from the majority.
@Orlick: I felt the same way you did about Drawn to Life. Ironically, I think this game MIGHT have stood a better chance if it used the control system from Drawn to Life instead of this touch screen-only crap. Anyway, I would advise against Scribblenauts.
