I just finished the last lesson and I still think this is a great value... shortish on the lessons but with "free paint" mode I think it's worth it. Great game! Can't wait for second semester!

This game is too short... Just completed it in about 3 days and I have to say... I am gonna have to take a point off of my review score for this game because there are so few lessons. It is a great game though and I can't wait for the 2nd semester, too... The free paint mode is great for replay value, I just wished that there was a lesson or two more, this would make an ideal DSi Cart!

not enough lessons....I did use free paint once yes only once and I didn't use color painting because the app hasn't teach me how to mix and match color and I'm really bad at it... I think it's a great app, maybe a little bit expensive, it will be perfect if it's only $5. I hope for 2nd semester they will merge it with 1st semester(if you have both)so that I won't have 2 apps, both with free paint, that'll be kinda stupid
I haven't start the lessons yet...for the free drawing part...it's exactly the same with the 1st semester. the first lesson is to draw a yellow lily each lesson has a small "bonus" lesson so 4 lessons + 4 bonus...
1st lesson yellow lily bonus: red flower (learn how to mix color) 2nd lesson (pencil) puppy bonus: cat 3nd lesson (color) swan - learn about the color wheel and complementary colors as you try out impressionist painting techniques.
Why don't ya'll post these pics and such in the second semester first impressions discussion topic? I'm sure they'd love to have some pictures and a list. .lol.. i won't be buying 2nd semester (not for awhile anyway) I was kinda peeved at how short on the lessons the 1st semester was. For $8, we need more... I do like the idea, and I love the graphics and gameplay, there just needed to be more...
