I think Nintendo bundling the game with the Amiibo was a great idea meaning scalpers would have to pay a lot more to scalp it, although there is always that possibility.........
I believe all physical copies will be the Amiibo Bundle but the game will also be available digitally, which sucks for be because I want the game digitally and if I enjoy it (which I think I will but this is my first game in the series) I would want the Amiibo too
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
Now it's just a matter of whether or not the game itself will be common. The DS game, Park Patrol, is still pretty cheap, so that's definitely a good sign.
Park Patrol wasn't well-distributed, though. It was Wal-Mart and Amazon(?) only at release. We'll see how this goes, but history has not been kind to Chibi-Robo...
I dunno. Chibi-Robo isn't exactly a best-selling series, so I have my doubts this game will be heavily distributed in stores. A significant portion of the purchases, I'd think, will also be just for the amiibo, so my thinking is the figure is going to be harder to track down than most. Probably on par with the green squid amiibo.

Either way, I'm sure they're only bundling the amiibo with game as a means of having the many many amiibo collectors buy the game, which should help the game sell very well and hopefully boost interest in Chibi-Robo again.
I really hope this game turns out great. Chibi-Robo has been needing a good comeback.
Who knows, maybe Chibi-Robo using his plug as a weapon/tool to destroy enemies is a hint to him joining Smash? Eh, I can dream at least. It just seems strange to out of nowhere make a game where for once he uses his plug to beat enemies up instead of just using it to charge.
