Topic: Amiibos in box valueable?

Hi since 2016 I started to collect amiibo and I have 50+ of them now. It's a bit sad though that they seem to be dead as there are not many stores out there who sell them and nobody cares about them anymore. To me they are nostalgic and I like them. Most of my amiibos are still in their box because I dont have a display yet and otherwise theyll just be collecting dust. I've read about collectors buying 2 of each, 1 to unbox and 1 to keep in the package. I was wondering though if I will unbox mine or not. They are not being produced anymore that I know of so will they become valueable over time or shouldnt I bother and just unbox them?

Also some questions...

Howcome that once extremely common amiibos like SSB4 Mario are so hard to come by nowadays? The once "rare" amiibos seem to be still buyable though.

And by any change does anyone know if it's possible to still get the Sonic amiibo in Europe?

Thanks

Like anything if they release SSB for NS the Amiibo will become valuable again. They do hold value for particular games that uses them take BoTW those Amiibos on the US side is still hard to get and even harder for TP Amiibo. Your choices are ebay (Overpriced) or Amazon or Amazon JPN or JPN markets and sometimes UK and EU markets if they ship to the US. If you don't use them leave them in the box I got all the Amiibos collections for the most part the Figures and I think that is closer to 100+ and not including two new splatoon and new Pikachu detective but missing Dark Souls. Sonic your going to have to check with Amazon UK or eBay over there to find that Amiibo if the US side doesn't ship over there. For the most part all my Amiibos are still boxed only those I used I've take out but like you said some can't be found anymore so I will keep them still. Even if someone offered me good money I won't sell them. I use this site to find and collect my Amiibo so far.
