I have been buying up the Animal Crossing Amiibos on Amazon because they have been around $4-$5 per figure.

Kirby haul!

I got the Kirby amiibo with the game, and I just had to get King Dedede too. The amiibo collection is coming along nicely!

A nice haul just like last time. I finally got a Wario thanks to Best Buy online. While I don't care for his biker outfit, its still a nicely detailed figure. Still missing Wii Fit Trainer and Smash King Dedede and I'll have all the Smash Bros. figures up to now until they finally give the last 3, (Cloud, Bayonetta, Corrin) release dates. The new Splatoon amiibo are really nice. The alt figures look better than the original figures. Specifically the Squid since he isn't green anymore. Still a bummer that they didn't give us alt outfits of the amiibo gear and new hero weapons. It would be nice to get more hero weapons of the Slosher, Splattling, and Inkbrush just to see them in hero design. Same with the outfits. It'd be nice to have alt versions of the outfits with new main abilities. Oh well. I still like these figures regardless. As for the big ones though, Callie & Marie are fantastic. They look spot on to their in game counterparts and that makes me very happy. I haven't listened to any of the Squid Sisters' new songs, so I hope the songs on the amiibo are good. I don't know if any will replace the Splatfest theme as one of my favorites of theirs, but we will see. Anyways, hope everyone got a chance to get their hands on these new amiibo. Hopefully everyone will also participate in the final Splatfest and have a good time. See you all when in November for the second wave of Super Mario Series amiibo unless something comes up from now till then.

My local toy store (Intertoys for you fellow Dutchmen) is having a promotion. 50% off select amiibo series. However, I'm pretty low on money so I decided to only get one at the moment and maybe get another one later this month. I wasn't sure whether to pick up Samus, Villager or the Mii Brawler. But I already have Zero Suit Samus and the Mii Gunner, and I really wanted an amiibo to represent Animal Crossing (a series which I really love), so I went with Villager.

I still think his face looks a little off, even though I'm not entirely sure why (his forehead is too big. Is his face too low? His head too big? His eyes too small?), but I'm still glad I got him.
So now I'm up to 29 amiibo!

So I managed to snag the last 5 AC amiibo I didn't have from GameStop and Frys. They had them on clearance, so I bit the bullet and got them while I could. It was pretty crazy at Frys. They had Tom Nook on sale for $3 and the 3 pack with Reese, Cyrus, and KK on sale for $5. That $5 three pack would be nice, but I already had it and Reese had broken off her base. It was kind of sad. I also bought Animal Crossing: New Leaf from GameStop for $20. I forgot that it was part of the new Nintendo Selects line, so I finally got it and I am enjoying it very much. Anyways, I just wanted to post this before I forgot.

So I just bought Roy, which is my first amiibo ever. The amiibo is one of the best ones in terms of looks in my opinion, but it's also one of the most useless ones, at least for the moment. Do you think that will change?

Finally got Amiibo Festival and Kapp'n last weekend. Tomorrow should have Boo, Daisy, Rosalina and Waluigi. Then on Saturday my mom is coming to take us out for lunch for my daughter's and my birthday so we are going to Walmart after and I plan on picking up Diddy Kong and another AC amiibo.

Added Lucina, Robin, Lucario and Celeste to my amiibo collection. Might be getting some this weekend when my dad comes down early for Christmas. My eldest brother had his 1st baby- a girl, today so my dad is coming down on the weekend to see her. My brother just lives in Toronto, like an hour and a half from where I live with my hubby and kids.

Well, this doesn't have to do with amiibo, but with some Black Friday sales, we finished our Disney Infinity collection, which is right next to my amiibo collection. It is awesome seeing all those figures, I wish there were more coming but oh well.

On amiibo news, I did finish my Fire Emblem collection. I also got the rest of the Super Mario series figures. Looking forward to the Zelda figures, still waiting for Wolf Link to be sold separately. I wonder if any are going for a decent price second hand.

I received two Link Amiibos on Monday - Toon Link (WindWaker) and Ocarina Link (Ocarina Of Time).

The colours on both are brighter than I expected - especially Ocarina, which makes the character look more cartoon-like. They're both great though.

My LOZ 30th anniversary amiibo came in. They will be my last purchase for a few months.

Got the Legend Of Zelda 30th anniversary amiibos for Christmas plus my son got the original inkling boy amiibo

My Wife and I just finished our Animal Crossing amiibo series figures. They are so nice looking. I also found a Wold Link stand alone, so I also have all the Zelda figures so far. My next paycheck will probably go towards all the Breath of the Wild figures
