I'll probably get the Zelda edition and keep it sealed for my collection.

I'm torn. I like the Zelda 3DS XL design a lot and would definitely buy it.

But I'm not too keen on a digitally downloaded copy of the game. I'd rather have the physical cartridge.

Oh well, these new 3DS XL designs aren't even for NA so I'm not going to worry about it.

Honestly, I went with the original 3ds because of the smaller size. But if they release the Zelda 3dsxl here in NA, my hands are just gonna have to get used to the larger system after all haha.

Considering how NA got the Zelda 3DS (which if I recall correctly was announced relatively late), I think getting these is a safe bet

They look pretty damn nice. Unfortunately, I bought both my 3DS consoles prior to any of these special edition ones being released, so I've kind of missed out on the opportunity/any real reason to buy one.

Makes me wish both were available earlier this year when I bought a 3DS XL...

I noticed (later) in your original comment you mentioned the code could be simply sold. Good idea!

However, with that in mind ^, I preordered my copy of ALbtW yesterday at GameStop.

It was also brought to my attention that if this bundle comes to NA, I could just transfer my preorder money to it.

Gotta love Nintendo for making it a download code.
It's for the best on their side too, people could sell the code and get a physical copy and then they get more money.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks that the design for the Zelda 3DS is a little boring. No crest or border, just a big Triforce slapped on it.

Sometimes there is beauty in simplicity, personally think it appeals to us older peeps. Also I can pretend it's the "Ultimate Treasure" from Gokaiger.
