What else is there- this thing has been out for over a year now and each week I go to the games shop to find something for my son but there is nothing! What on Earth is going on.
I have an iPad myself and can check every few days for excellent games at a tenth of the cost- Nintendo really need to begin to understand this. Just got Walking Dead for three pounds.
Kid Icarus, resident evil, Thetrythm, Dead or Alive, kingdom hearts, MGS, Pokemon rumble blast, Tale of Abyss! NSMB2 in a month, tons of 3DS Ware and VC
Digitaloggery 3DS FC: Otaku1 WiiU: 013017970991 Nintendo of Japan niconico community is full of kawaii! Must finish my backlagg or at least get close this year W...
Tales of the Abyss, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy, Dead or Alive: Dimensions, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Resident Evil: Revelations, Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater, VVVVVV, Mighty Switch Force!, Mutant Mudds, Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword, Pushmo, Art of Balance TOUCH!, Family Tennis 3D, Mario Tennis Open, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, Heroes of Ruin, Zen Pinball 3D, Marvel Pinball 3D, 3D Classics: Kid Icarus, 3D Classics: Kirby's Adventure, 3D Classics: Xevious.
I'm sure I probably missed something, and that's not counting all the VC classics. If you can't find good games to play on your 3DS, you're not looking.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I had to check the date of this topic, because it looked alot like posts that was done in 2011 before the 3DS caught up in sales (mainly because he is complaining about ports and remakes).
There is deffenetly a bunch of good games on the system. It's not a massive library but hey, it's only been out for 1 1/2 years.
hey guys Bit trip is the only 3rd party game m i rite? yeah no, generic "I'm too stupid to find good games despite being on the internet" topic is generic and laughable. I know Nintendo themselves suck at things relevent to the modern online obsessed world, but why do Nintendo gamers have the most amount of people who fail at putting more than 3 seconds of effort to find good video games and decide to whine on random internet forums about how there are no good video games?
also you didn't mention Kid Icarus so instafail.
granted, Mickeymac has an at least equally as good a point. WHERE IS MY ROCKET SLIME 3D?
i`m really hopping that once the wii u is finally out, some of the focus should swing back to the 3DS, basicly the list of up and coming retail games for the 3DS is pretty much few and far between at the moment.
tbh, the eshop is the only thing that`s keeping the momentum of games flowing, even that is very hit and miss at the best of times.
i think nintendo really need to shift themselves in getting the gameboy games out that they want people to buy, because i can see there being a big uproar for nintendo to start putting gba games on the VC within the next year or so.
What!? Wheres the games at? Currently I have RE, Icarus, Mario 3d Land, MarioKart 7, and Mario Brothers 2 coming on the 19th. I'm also thinking about Kingdom Hearts, And definitely getting Luigis Dark Moon. There is no shortage of great games in Nintendos library. Now if only I could find something to play on my Vita
He said he's looking for something for his son, guys, Resident Evil and MGS3 are probably out of the picture. I'm not sure how old he is, but I'm assuming he's 10 or under. If you're okay with your son seeing boobs, Dead or Alive: Dimensions is a really good purchace. It does a great job of introducing the fighting game system to the player by effectively teaching the player how to play the game by the bottom screen showing the player how moves are executed, rather than having four easy-move buttons for Street Fighter (although you can press them). It's very high quality, and I can vouch for it, what with my 80+ hours logged into it. Honestly, I found it be a much better 3DS game than Street Fighter.
Rythem Thief and Theatrythm: Final Fantasy are both fantastic music games, although Rythem Thief would probably be the better way to go since I doubt your son has played enough Final Fantasy games to have Theatrythm feed on nostagia.
Kid Icarus: Uprising is an absolute masterpiece. It is, in my opinion, the best game on the 3DS, and is something every person with a 3DS should own. It's captivating, has a metric ton of content, and has a lot of heart in its story. Multiplayer is a plus as well.
From what I've heard and from the demo I played, Kingdom Hearts is excellent.
I'm not sure if it's out in Europe yet, but Nano Assault is a nice little shooter.
On the downloadable side of things, Pushmo is an absolute necessity. Art of Balance touch was an impulse buy for me and I was very pleasantly surprised with it.
Oh, and the 3DS is backwards compatable, so every DS game released, minus the guitar heros and Tony Hawk motion, are playable on it. The DS has one of the largest backlog of games on it, so there's a lot of potential there. I refuse to list games for that since there are too many.
Now if only I could find something to play on my Vita

Played any PSP games? There's a lot.
I get that Vita games are few and far between (the next game for it is Ragnarok Odyssey in mid-late August, which is an awesome looking game btw), but come on man, that is some really unnecesary trolling right there.
And yes, I double-posted. Sue me.

if he doesn't have Gravity Rush he is just as guilty of ignoring good games for no reason
i mean, i thought there were recommendation threads for a reason?
