Hello everyone i just bought a used 3ds and it came with a few installed games , i know if reset the console i will lose the games but i am wondering ,since this ins't a account created by me, " is safe to buy games on this? " , or should i reset lose the games to buy new games , there is some risk of lossing the games if i buy on this pre-existing account that came with the 3ds ? thx for the help
its not really the "current" games.I wanna buy new games for the console on the Eshop , since i dont have the account info , if a buy games on this account do i have any chance to lose them?
Accounts will become untied to the system around 2015, & they could take your account, thought they probably wouldn't. The real downside is you can't change & don't know what their password is.
for those wondering why Nintendo and Sony and Microsoft put hurdles to something as simply as changing your network ID, this is the reason..... console makers all 3 of them want to make it difficult for you to sell your console with pre-installed digital games.... (Ironically MIcrosoft is the most consumer friendly of the 3 on this department as it does allow changing your ID although for a price)

Up until super recently Nintendo was the absolute opposite even if it was wiped the console could just go on and download what was assigned to it again.
