Topic: Turn based rpgs on 3ds?

So far i'm loving tales of abyss, once i'm finished i'll be playing some rpgs i missed on ds. I hope more turn based rpgs come to 3ds. So far i know dragon quest 7 remake was announced and bravely default. With the good graphics on 3ds, i'd love a lot of turn based rpgs.

There are a few on the 3DS, but you'd be wise to check out the DS's library. I highly recommend checking out both Chrono Trigger and Radiant Historia before anything.

yea plus, final fantasy heroes of light, dragon quest 9, golden sun dark dawn, i'm going to play those and just wait till 3ds builds rpg's cause it's kinda new, that is why 3ds has few rpgs. thanks

i though shin megami games were strategy, even if it's strategy or turn based, i have to try this series.

plus i need to but last story, arc rise fantasia, and xenoblade too for wii. so many games to play sheesh lol.

how do you play etrian oddyssey, the board game, gameplay looks confusing.

As for some things currently out, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Denpa Men (eShop), Crimson Shroud (eShop), & Sword of Hope II (GB VC) have turn based combat, and are all fine games.

I believe Planet Crashers also has turn based combat, but the game apparently sucks (don't have it myself).

Only Devil Survivor is Strategy RPG. The rest are Turn-Based RPGs, though the Raidou Devil Summoners are Action-RPGs (Good luck finding those...).

I think most of us would love a variety of RPGs on the 3DS — and in fact, there's a thread for this here if you'd like to continue this discussion there. Thank you!
