looks like nintendo e-shop release date is for NA only hehehehe, Europe will have have to go through steam until they get it approved through the various rating boards.
The whole reason they gave for delaying the Steam version was so they could have it on all at the same time.
That's not what they originally said. Where did you get that info? Or is that just your opinion?
Can't wait to try this out. I really hope the reviews are up before release dates as I'm not sure which version I want. I'm leaning towards this one here just for the portability of it. Since its retro style graphics I don't see the U version being all that much more impressive graphically. Still price and reviews might change my mind and there is always the option for both. Hope they do a price break somehow to get both or I'll wait for a sale for the other.

im so annoyed by the fact that this won't get released in europe on june 26th, at least not on the Nintendo eShop...
steam is great, but i really wanna play it on the 3DS XL... guess i'll have to wait a bit longer

I'm glad it's finally coming next week, but I'll admit I'm a bit bummed by the price tag: I was expecting it to be like $8.99, but on the eShop it says the price will be $14.99. Seems a bit steep imo; I'll probably cheap out and wait for a discount.
Ouch! I still get it but now I really will have to research which copy I want. I'm not getting both at that price!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not saying this game won't be worth it but why do they price themselves out like that? This will sell 5X that price if they come out at say 7.99. Instead they won't make nearly the impact they want to at that price and in the long run might not earn as much money till they have a sale.

Why were you guys expecting anything less than $15 for a full indie title? That's pretty much the standard for anything that's not gimped or crap these days.

Because very few games of this style are that price. I'm not sure if the 3ds version will also be that price and if that's the case only a hand full of titles are that price on that system. If it's somehow cheaper on the 3ds I'll probably go with that one.
As we already can see a lot of people are not digging the price and are not looking to get it day one now.
Well i just check and the 3ds version is also the same price. I was thinking about both copies but now ill wait for a sale for sure. Was looking to spend 20$ for both not 30$.

I don't have a problem with that. I just don't think it should've been expected. Again, most quality indie games released within the past 3 or 4 years across all platforms cost that or more on day one, including the Wii U, and since this is primarily a Wii U game, I don't think it was fair to expect less. If you can wait, that's fine. But you'll be doing a lot of that from now on.
