Most of them will work, but the more recent DS games are region locked on 3DS and I think DSi. For example, Pokemon black and white/2 are region locked. Can't really think of other games at the moment.
Thanks, I ordered a US import of Radiant Historia to play on my 2DS. Probably won't play it on my N3DSAmbassador as the 2DS has a slightly smaller screen and thus the pixels won't show as much!
Systems: Wii U, Wii, New 3DS Ambassador Edition, 2DS
Amiibo Collection: Villager, Rosalina, Zelda, Sheik, Toon Link, Link, Marth, Ike, Robin, Lucina, Pit, Shulk, Fox, Yoshi, Toad, Squid Inkling, Meta Knight, Ganondorf (pre-ordered), Yarn Yoshi (pre-ordered)
Games with region-locking are "DSi Enhanced" games.
I think those games are the ones that start with TWL- in the game's product code (NTR- being the older original DS games).
So you can't play a US enhanced DSi game on a EU 3DS?
No.
You can play DS games that are not DSi enhanced on any Nintendo DS, DSi, 3DS or 2DS unit, but you can only play DSi enhanced games that match the region of your console. The European and Australian region code is identical so Australian games can be played on European units and vice versa. There are very few games that are exclusive to Australia, so this is nothing to brag about really.
