Topic: Pokemon X and Y

Whew, finally beat the game and reach a point where I can safely return to the Internet spoiler-free (kind of). Sometimes the temptation of finding out what pokemons and important npc are in the game or where/how to get/do certain things in game is just too great. But it was all worth it.

Been having fun helping people with O-Powers and wonder trade so far. I wonder if there was anybody that was shock to receive a Charmeleon with a berry when they traded a Pidgey?

I have a spritzee with sachet if you still need to trade.

I just caught Xerneas with your run of the mill regular Pokéball, WHAT!!?!!???????? Oh well now I can save the master ball for Mewtwo

@Neo-GeoFan i caugh Xerneas with premier balls. ( by the 4th i caught it heh) same catch rate as a poke ball but its just looks more fancy heh.

@Gioku If you're still looking for a Dusk Stone there is a real easy one in Laverre City (assuming the main story is finished). Just before you head into the Pokeball factory you'll pass by a Team Flare member. Talk to him and you'll get a Dusk Stone.

The items in the Battle Maison are tempting to get because they're really useful, but too long to get and constantly having to battle to get 1 BP each time just for a Power bracelet item or TM in the end may or may not be worth it.

Is anyone participating in more Wi-Fi tournaments that are being hosted on the Global Link this time? I'm going to try to join in incase they decide to give the 13 more berries that this game will require future titles to get.

Sadly, the main legendary Pokemon this generation have stupid high catch rates because they "want you" to catch them. I hate how easy these games are becoming. I hope they ramp up the difficulty in the next games.

I never care much for the Legendaries ever since my eyes are enlightened to the awesomeness of my own team in Pokemon White... since then, the Legendary is boxed.

@darkfenrir I care more about the story of my trainer than I do my team.
I usually just put the Pokemon I've trained competitively in my Battle Box and I'm done with them.

@BlatantlyHeroic, I suppose we have quite a different view then, since I'm more of the type that will keep my team. And I'm loving the team right now~ it has a really wide range of attack and I don't need to worry much now -w-

Offense will only get you so far. Defense, Speed, and status affecting moves can change a battle towards your favor. Heck, there's even a method that allows you to use a level 1 ratatta to take down even the strongest opponents.

Well, some of my Pokemon are glass cannons, but at least two of them won't die even if they are hit by their weakness. :3

I'm surprised more people aren't excited that they fixed the lag issues with the update! I love that so much! It fixes the one complaint I had with this game!

@Gioku The lag issues are gone? That's sweet! They didn't really bother me though.

Do you want to trade now? I don't see you in my Pokemon X friends list though, so I can't tell.
